I was notified by my husband on Nov. 8th that he was divorcing me - his wife of 28 years. I was blind-sided. He claimed it was too hard for him to live with me and he was inner turmoil and needed to get out of the marriage. I found out later through friends, that he was seeing another woman. I found this site a few days ago and have been reading the posts in the divorce after 20 years forum. It has been so helpful to me. I know now that I am not alone. Thank you all for being here.

I have always believed that it would be so much better/easier if they would just MAN UP from the get-go and tell the truth! Mine fed me the same B.S. line \"I\'m unhappy\" and then 3 months AFTER I put him out, I find out he\'d been boinking the OW for God only knows how long! Blecch! Creepshit that he was.
