Thanks and Thai
Hello Community,
Thank you for your kind comments regarding our Portugal photos.
Tonight Mickie and I are preparing a Thai meal for several law students who bid on the "right" to dine with us. Each year the law school has an auction that benefits the public interest law (a noble cause). Mickie and I offer a Persian or Thai meal. Several years ago we attended a Thai cooking school located outside of Bangkok. I suppose next year we can offer a Portuguese meal as a third option.
Our Thai meal is much more spicy than one will find in the Chicago area Thai restaurants. This evening we will have spring rolls, corn cakes, green curry chicken, a spicy salad, fried rice, and mango sticky rice for dessert. For drinks we will have champagne with pomegranate seeds.
Tonight will be fun....

What a great fund raiser idea. Yes, offering a third option next year would just add to the fun. Your Thai dinner sounds delicious. Enjoy and have fun.

Hi Dan,
Trying to stay cool...The law professors and student organizations offer items to bid upon. We always offer a meal and usually bid on several items....it is a very worthwhile endeavor.
