Thankful November

I have set myself a goal to write 1-3 things I am thankful for daily.  Try to focus on the positives for a change.  I am behind since I had no internet this weekend so I have two days to do.

Although it wasn't November yet I am thankful for a fantastic Halloween, my almost daughter in law cooking supper, all the trick or treators, the fabulous weather, all the compliments on our haunted house and decorations, the time with all my family, 3 sons and 3 girls that were with us, the finger I sliced open that stopped bleeding and I did not have to go to the hospital and get stitches.  Just a really fun night.

For Saturday I am thankful my little daughter in law went with us Larping for the first time and didn't seem to completely hate it.   I am also thankful my youngest's girlfriend could be there too so I had my whole family all day.
I am thankful that although the wind was wicked cold the rain they promised only came down for maybe an hour and it wasn't more than a sprinkle.  Being wet would have been horrible.
For Sunday I am thankful for a pretty good night's sleep.  I actually slept the extra hour that daylight savings time gave me.  That never happens I am just up an extra hour early so very grateful for that.
I am very thankful that my middle son and his wife invited us to their house for supper and to use their internet so my husband could get his homework done and I could get the prep work done for my classes this week and my youngest could chat with his girlfriend online for a couple hours.

That is a great idea. So many of us should do the same. I had too many negatives today to write anything positive! Hugs GB
