Had a wonderful Thanksgiving here at home. In-laws traveled from out of town and oldest home from college - so awesome! Having all three boys at the dinner table is something that doesn't happen very much anymore. I have a lot to be grateful for. Spoke to my parents, who also live out of town, and they had a great time with some of my siblings. I am one of 7 so getting us all together these days is nearly impossible because we all don't live in the same state. I could have rung T's neck, however, Wednesday night. Sure it is a popular time for friends to get together before Thanksgiving BUT he knew his grandparents were coming in and he knows he's supposed to let us know where he is. He left at 3:30 and didn't return until 11PM just before my in-laws were ready to call it a night. It, obviously, bothered my mother-in-law - she was starting to worry - so I told her that T hasn't done this in a long time "so don't worry". I was a bit concerned myself but let it go because I've gone down that road before - only to see it was a waste of time. Anyway - he was fine. He "didn't know" they were coming in that day - even though I told him. The truth is ....he wanted to be with his friends. If he had called to say where he ended up - he would have been told to come home. Whatever. Thanksgiving Day he stayed home.....which was great.
