thank you to friends on here and an update

this site really makes me feel like i am not so alone.  thank you for all the words of support, I find it so helpful.  and it means so much to me.  my moods keep flipping all the time still i think i am crying more now.  i finally finished all my continuing education and reapplied for all my certifications with the state.  i handled the creepy guy at work that was touching everybody.....i dont think he will bother me or anyone around me again.  i took him into the supervisors office and confronted him to his face and told him i wont tolerate any of that behavior and he was a liability to the city so that is on record.  now it is time to just really handle stuff with dad.....i miss him so much i really keep thinking he is not gone.   my daughters best friends house burnt down this week too. i was on the call no person was hurt but we did do cat cpr...they died 4 cats and got the dogs out we gave them oxygen but i think they will be ok thank goodness noone was home it was rolling really quick and i feel real bad for her and her family.  the actual structure is fixable and there were a couple rooms saved.

i am sorry i hate to see anyone lose their home like that and with pets involved it will be very trumatic for the kids and the family because nothing is the same when you return i hope that you can work thru this with your dad so that you can settle down a little bite because if you dont i am afraid you might make yourself sick from all the stress of everything i hope that you have a wonderful 4th of july and a wonderful week keep your chin up and your eyes dry and go tackle the world like you know you can and remember you are a child of god and he is walking with you holding your hand may your days soon be happy and full of love and laughter again lovingly your friend lauri43

How awful about the fire. House fires are so tragic as these structures are often the only shelter available for the occupants where homelessness is often waiting after such a disaster - in a society that I now know simply does not have on overwhelming ability to care - outside of the \'token\' \'emergency\' few days of help. I found it more a promise without much substance during my crisis I have survived for several years now. A crisis that would no longer be a crisis with good support where I would now be living life as a fully healed, functional person instead of having to try and survive as a person alone with a severe disability that has been marginalized and swept under that \'dirty old carpet\' of excuses called humanity.

I am here for you and I care. We only have to take one small step at a time and can work at finding joy and happiness in honor of those that we love so very much that are no longer with us.

Gentle ((hugs)) of comfort and healing sent your way.

:-) Patricia
