Thank you to all of you

I have been having a rather tough week. Seems that there have been a lot of reminders this week and ran into a few people I haven't seen in a few months, that asked how my kids were doing and I had to explain. Some crazy things happening. Don't know if anyone has gotten signs with things moving but a few different things happened out of the blue that are not explainable.. Truly makes me a believer in something more. I have been staying busy. I'm a realtor and have been working a lot more this week and cry in between working. Some days it's been ok and then others the tears just fall. It's not quite 5 months but it is still so hard to deal with. It's hard to fight that ache in my heart that wants him back so badly.  I appreciate all the moms in this group. It's nice to know there are people that understand the pain without feeling like I am putting my burden on someone else.
I am so grateful that I will be going to spend a week with my daughter.  It would be even harder to have my first Mother's Day since my son's accident, if I couldn't be with my daughter.
I know this will be a hard day for everyone in this group.  My heart and love are with you all and  so is my gratitude for all of you becoming my new friends.  Sending you all hugs.

I can remember crying on the way to work. Working...crying in the bathroom between classes...crying on the way home. It is hard. You are doing the best you can. Allow those good days to just BE good days. This is a roller coaster ride...and it lasts a long time. You are at the highest and lowest part of the ride right now...and my heart aches remembering that time. 1FIFOTO One foot in front of the other is all you need to do right now.

Many, many interesting stories of unexplained things with the moms here. I say...believe it...trust it...he is communicating with you.

Enjoy your week with your daughter...she needs you as much as you need her.

Love and big ole gentle hugs...Karen

I do hope you enjoy your mothers day, I know it is not the same. My son always did something for me. I miss that a lot . My daughter thinks of herself more than anything else.
Tight hugs

The tears do just fall and when asked about our children by those who do not \"know\" and that feeling of having to even make your lips form the words IS excruciating and then to see the expressions on their faces... Deepest of sighs...

I so find comfort in the signs and have things moving too. I always thank my son and tell him he can \"rearrange\" the furniture for all I care. Just knowing they are close by is a healing balm.

I\'m grateful you will be with your daughter on Mother\'s Day and each holiday for me always feels a bit different because I\'m not in the same place either. I have learned to try to keep them open and fluid in case I tank and just don\'t want to do anything and not having expectations around how I think I should be feeling has helped soften those holidays a bit.

Grateful for your journal and five months is such a short time. I cannot even remember the first two years much less where I was at five months. I was suspended in a cocoon of fog and perhaps that\'s the only way my heart and mind could cope and not implode.

One moment, day and step at a time is what all the moms here kept encouraging me to do.

Hand in hand, Heart to heart,
XO Joanie
