Thank you Redskins, for a season of cheering, hope, and memories :)

I'm so proud, of my favorite football team, the Washington Redskins :) They gave us fans, an amazing season of cheering, hope, and memories. :) We had a big football party yesterday, and a welcome home celebration, for our dear friend Holly! :) We watched football. :) i'm so happy DS is back online after the maintainence. :) Yesterday, my family, friends, and i watched a very intense football game, my Redskins team gave their all, and lost a tough playoff game vs the Seahawks, 24-14. we cheered them to the final seconds of the game. my mom, dad, Lisa, friends, we all intensely watched the game, cheering them on. Thank you all so much, for cheering on my Redskins this season. :) it was a very exciting season. :) i will always remember this season. :) it was fun cheering on the Redskins :)The Redskins won a total of 10 games, and won the NFC east division championship. :)They accomplished so much, and yesterday, during the game, i was into the moments, as i thought about how amazing it is, the Redskins, hosting a playoff game. :) it was a dream season, and has given us fans lots of hope for season's to come. :) RG3, our quarterback, and the entire team, lots of heart, spirit, and soul. :) they truly are, "Braves on the warparth, fighting for old DC. Hail to the Redskins!" :)i feel so proud, to be a fan of them, and cheered them on with all of my heart. :) absolutely amazing season! :) The Divisional Playoffs are all set, and ready for next weekend. :) 8 teams remain! :) we're 2 weeks away from championship sunday, and 3 weeks away from Superbowl Sunday! :)it's a nice peaceful day today. :) it's great spending some time here on DS, writing to friends. :) i've got lots to share in my journal today. :) i wrote some cards, and a letter on sunday morning :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :)
my family and i hope everyone enjoyed a great sunday. :) i was thinking of you all often yesterday. :) i am so happy, that DS is back online, after the maintainence. :) i missed you all yesterday. *HUGS* i checked the site from time to time yesterday, and also had the football games on. :) there were 2 awesome games. :) my family, Holly, friends, and i watched the games. :) i was texting/talking with friends on the phone throughout the day, and cheered on my Redskins. :) wow! :) What a season they had, and even though they lost yesterday, they gave us fans something very special. :) They gave us, a season of cheering, a season of hope, and a season to remember, with so many special memories. :) our quarterback, RG3 (Robert Griffin the 3rd), god bless his heart. RG3, just 22 years old, an NFL rookie, with a severely injured knee, played yesterday with such heart, spirit, and soul, with all of his teammates. RG3 played until he couldn't stand up anymore. they tried so hard. made us Redskins fans so proud, to be watching such spirited efforts. Even in loss, the Redskins, and all of us fans have something to be proud of, and much more to look forward too. :) a young up and coming team, and superbowl dreams for season's to come. :) Hail to the Redskins! :)
It was a really thrilling day yesterday. :) i want to share some wonderful news. :) our dear friend Holly is back home! :) She got released yesterday morning from the hospital, and is back home, resting comfortably, and is doing much better. :) She thanks everyone for the well wishes, prayers, and healing energy. :) we're so happy, and thankful she's feeling much better, and is healing. :) Holly and i watched both football games yesterday. :) Holly's team, the Baltimore Ravens, won a big game vs the Colts, and have advanced to the next round of the playoffs. :) Holly and i cheered on the Ravens, and then cheered on my Redskins in the 2nd game. :) it was a really amazing day. :) Holly and i were talking about how incredible it is, how both our teams were hosting playoffs games on their fields, in the same day. :) both teams, just 38 minutes apart, from stadium to stadium, it's really cool. :)
my mom, dad, Lisa, family, lots of friends, and i were all gearing up for the games yesterday. :) i was wearing my Redskins shirt, hat, and brewed some pumpkin spiced coffee, made iced coffees in my Redskins tumbler. :) i enjoyed an early morning nature walk, feeding our wonderful nature animal friends. :) i baked some potatoes for lunch, and Holly and i watched the Ravens game at 1pm. :) i checked in on DS to see if the site from time to time, but noticed the site was still undergoing maintainence. i was thinking of you all often yesterday, and we were with eachother in spirit. :) Holly's team, the Ravens won their game, 24-9, and have advanced to next weekend's divisional round. :) i am so happy for Holly, and the Ravens fans. :) my mom, dad, family, and i were all hanging out, talking before the Redskins game. :) my dad made some fresh homemade salsa. :) i was feeling so excited, getting ready for Redskins vs Seahawks game. :)
At 4:30pm, the Redskins game began, and oh my! my Redskins sure came out wild!!! :) they were soaring and scoring! :) The Redskins got the football first, it was so exciting to see the Redskins playing a home playoff game, their first one since 1999 season. The Redskins scored a touchdown on their first drive, to take a 7-0 lead, they then got the football back, and went right down the field again. on 2nd down and goal, RG3 (our quarterback), rolled out to the right and got hit, he re-injured his knee, which has been very fragile since the Redskins vs Ravens game in December. RG3 stayed in the game, and on 3rd down and goal, he threw a touchdown! wow! Redskins were up 14-0, my mom, dad, Holly, and i, many friends texting me, we were all cheering! this was incredible!!! Redskins 14-0, and it was only the 1st quarter! the 2nd quarter, the Seahawks battled back, and scored 13 straight points. At halftime, it was Redskins leading 14-13. it was so close! oh my!
The 2nd half, the Seahawks momentum continued, the Redskins held strong, they were able to hold them back a bit, they didn't give up any points, they went into the 4th quarter, with the Redskins leading 14-13. oh my! oh my! this was intense! i was in our living room, pacing back and forth, cheering, we were all into the game. :) Felt like i was right there in the stands at Fed Ex field! come on Redskins! RG3 was struggling, his knee, it was really bad, my dad and i were talking about maybe how they should have taken Rg3 out of the game, maybe their backup could come in. the Seahawks scored a touchdown, went for a 2 point conversion, they got it. it was 21-14. Redskins got the football back, 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and they put that blitz on RG3, and his knee just gave out, we all were stunned, he just fell down, he lost the football, RG3 was down, and it was so painful to watch, his knee, it gave out, he had nothing left. it was very intense and upsetting moments, RG3 was laying on the field, and we were all very quiet hoping he was ok. his knee, it was so badly injured. the Fans at Fed Ex field, went into a wild frenzy cheering RG3! RG3! RG3! it was unbelievable! the Redskins doctor's, and trainers helped RG3 stand, and he was taken to the back locker room. the Seahawks kicked a fieldgoal, to make it 24-14. There was 5 minutes left in the game, we tried, the Redskins battled on, but came up short, the Seahawks won, 24-14. it was such an intense game. wow! i was sweating after the game.
After the game, i talked with our dear friends Holly, Gaye (LuvMyTitans), Maria (Love4You), and Lori (Keepholdingon). :) i also texted with friends. :) what a game it was! wow! i feel very proud of my Redskins, so proud to be a fan. :) The Redskins, gave it their all, and gave us fans so much to cheer for, so much to be proud of, so much to hope for, and lots of memories to always cherish and treasure from the season. :) They were 3-6 at one point, and won 7 straight games, they were 10-6, won the NFC east championship, and did so well, and they will definitely be back next season. :) for the Redskins, and fans, the next big time for us, is April, the NFL Draft, then next august, pre-season, and eventually next season. :) with how well the team did this year, i think we will be contenders for season's to come. :) i had so much fun, celebrating this magical season. :)
it was so thrilling, to take part in this magical dream season, cheering on the Redskins with everyone. :) Thank you all so much, for cheering them on, and we even got to have a Redskins themed baking friday adventure, so cool! :) i want to buy a Redskins NFC east champions collectible pennant, and pin soon. :) this season, was one of the best Redskins season's i've ever seen. :) absolutely incredible how the team came back, and won the division, made the playoffs, and we have so much to look forward too. :) one of my favorite memories, was December 23rd, when we went to visit my Grandma, we listened to some of the game on the radio, and then December 30th, Redskins defeated the Cowboys to make the playoffs. my family and i hope and pray, that RG3's knee fully heals, and that he, and all of the team, gets plenty of nice much needed rest, and healing over the course of the off-season, and will come back next season for another run at the superbowl. :) Thank you Washington Redskins, for the wonderful season, of cheering, hope, and memories :) i'm a Redskins fan, and football fan, and looking forward to the divisional round. :)
Congratulations to the Wildcard winners, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, on their victories this past weekend. :) They have advanced to the divisional round playoffs games. :) my family and i are looking forward to celebrating next weekend's games with everyone. :)

We're enjoying a nice day. :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) this morning, i found a cool surprise in my favorite gardening area, our daffodils that are closed to our home, have sprouted. :) they'll blossom in late february. :) so cool! :) i'm so happy everyone enjoyed viewing the pictures i took of the sunset. :) i want to take some more nature pictures soon. :) i've been enjoying some nice quality time here on DS, writing to friends, and also did some nice organizing here in my computer room today. :) it's coming along really well. :) i put some episodes of "Scrubs" on today. :) i love that show. :) it's funny show, during winter time, i love to put the show on often, and watch the episodes from time to time :) i enjoyed a nice talk on the phone, with our dear friend Maria (Love4You) :) She, her husband Lionel, and family sent me some very special gifts, and treasures. :) awww! :) i'm going to share all about the gifts, and treasures in my journal tomorrow. :)
Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) my mom, sister Lisa, and i are going to get some nice treats at mcdonalds. :) i want to get a pineapple mango fruit smoothie :) i've been doing really well with my healthy eating. :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed 2 small baked potatoes with medium salsa for topping, a baked sweet potato, and an orange. :) lunch was delicious! :) i bought some oranges. :) they are having a sale at shoprite grocery store. : )8 pounds of oranges for $3.99. :) i love oranges. :) i'm feeling a really nice peaceful joy within. :) our dear friend Holly is continuing to heal well. :) wishing her continued comfort, healing, and peace. :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us. :) You all are very special friends, and are so nice and sweet. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) There's lots of great things to look forward too. :) Tonight, i'm going to enjoy a dvd night. :)
