Thank God for the flat tire

   My ex-estranged daughter called last night. She was supposed to go to a company party about an hour and a half away. She was pressured by her boss to take some other girls. She had no idea where she was going and it was extremely cold outside. When she was leaving the parking lot she noticed she had a flat. She called and my husband and I went. We brought the dog. My husband quickly learned the lugs wouldn't come off without power tools. They called more friends. No one had any. Her husband called their insurance and they don't have road side assistance. We finally called AAA. The call didn't go through. I called back an hour later and found that out after being on hold forever for a second time. It took AAA almost 3 hours to get there. Her battery died while waiting and the emergancy lights wouldn't work. Once they got there it only took a few minutes to change the tire and jump start it. It had to run for a half hour. I didn't want to leave it unattended so sat in it. I told her she couldn't afford to get sick. Turns out she doesn't have heat or defrost. She gave me a hug and said she didn't know what she would do without me. I offered to pay for the tire, but they refused even though I know she really can't afford it. Now I know she's not back for money.
I'm glad God kept her from driving on an extremely cold night. She was glad too
