Test Day 2 of 2

Well, my son saw the Behavior Analyst & Psychologist again--last day of testing, though he does need to complete a self-evaluation (which will be "fun" to get him to complete--not!) I also finished up my session w/the Behavior Analyst.  She did an in-school observation on him this morning.  She was so surprised as to how cooperative the guidance counselor & teachers were & how eager they were to share info & work with her.  It all sounds so hopeful. And I have to say that, for the first time in a long time, I feel that there may be hope.  There is a small part of me, though, that worries that even if we determine what's wrong, it may not make any difference.  After all, this is my son's life & we do need his cooperation to an extent.   But there is hope... Also, while I was there waiting, I had forgotten to bring my library book, so I read one of their books called "Necessary Journeys" by a Dr. Snyderman, who was 46 at the time of the writing & talked about her journey through life & self-discovery.  I was halfway thru the book when we were done there!  the BA said I could borrow it.  Cool.
