TESSSO is focused on the development of a novel distributed optical fiber sensing system for real-time monitoring and optimization of spatial and temporal distributions of high-temperature profiles in an industrial boiler furnace and inside in fossil-fueled power plants. Temperature sensors today are not built to measure temperatures at different points within the boiler.
TESSSO has also created a temperature field reconstruction algorithm so you are doubly sure that the temperature measurements in different spots within the boiler under harsh and corrosive environments are accurate and reliable.
With resistance temperature detector s distributed fiber sensing systems installed in the industrial boiler, our customers can be assured that the reconstructed 3D temperatures in the boiler can provide critical inputs to the control station in the plant so it can optimize the coal or natural gas-fired combustion process, help improve boiler efficiency, reduce fuel costs, bring down emissions of air pollutants and manage operational safety.
It is also in the process of developing the same technology to monitor corrosion on rebars for the construction industry and on another field – biomedical imaging.
