Well I know that you can regain your weight as I have read about people that have done exactly that as well as knowing that people fluctuate in their weight after getting to goal and sometimes before. A lot of the people talk about a head hunger after surgery and then when they do feel hungry they are satisfied easier. This is in no way the easy way out the emotional things you go through to get to the point of deciding to have the surgery, then the process you have to go through to get the surgery and things you will go through after the surgery are in no way easy. While you might feel a little better the surgery is in no way a guarantee that you are going to be happy, some people have deeper issues than just their weight, I don't expect to be happier until I have worked through my issues which I am in the process of doing. While there are risks involved with the surgery there are even greater risks involved without the surgery for me. I won't have a great body but it will be a better body healthier and lighter. While I can't eat regular foods right away I will be able to gradually move into regular foods again it will just be more fun because I can enjoy them. If you have a marriage in decline its not going to be saved by surgery, having babies or anything other than plain old hard work on both parts. There is no quick fix to keeping a happy marriage it requires dedication and hard work. I know that my insurance covers the entire surgery and after care as long as I am on the insurance.
