Telling people off

So I'm sitting here in the communal office.  It isn't a cubicle farm, but still not private.  I just overheard my new co-worker on the phone with a health insurance office.  He used words like "incompetence" and "fraudulent".  His tone wasn't confrontational, but he didn't pull any punches telling the person on the phone what he thought of the way they were handling his case.  I am in awe.  I so wish I could just spout whatever comes to mind without worrying about being nice and polite.  I'd love to be able to tell someone who needs to hear it that they are being incompetent.  So far, I don't really like this new co-worker, but man, I sure do admire this one characteristic!
