teaspoon of cement
well I had written a very long and well though out entry about how I need to harden up but my ipad ate it again...ugh.
Anyway, the bottom line is this; a miscarriage is most likely impending and I need to deal with it. Naturally, I couldn't have asked for worse timing if I tried....right before christmas...my in laws arrive tomorrow followed by family on Saturday.I have not slept porperly since I found out my blood results and I am worrying myself sick. This is all not good.
My husband has asked for a repeat beta tomorrow to see if it is indeed going up or down. If it is going down, then I will be prepared for the inevitable. If it is going up then thats ok.
The thing is, when I thought my result was going to be negative the first time round, I had reconciled with the fact. I had rationed that the transfer process wasn't all that bad and that I have another 3 frosties which will hopefully mean at least another two transfers...statistically that means I should carry one to term. Yes, it probably won't be this one but shit happens. There are people on this site that have been through a lot worse than this. I think I am going to chalk this first one up as a false positive....that way, I hopefully won't get bitter and cynical the next time round.
Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone for their message of hope, I really do appreciate it. I know I come across as incredibly negative but I have had the optimism knocked out of me one too many times and now err on the side of caution...or negativity.Apologies if it annoys some people.
Anyway, time to keep baking and cleaning.
Will keep you all posted.

I hope your repeat beta yields better results then you\'re thinking they will. Hang in there!
Hang in there! I wouldn\'t give up quite yet...I hope that your next beta numbers are better. Try not to stress out too much, granted, I know that is easier said than done but its not over, there is still a chance that your numbers will increase. Keep your chin up sweetie!
