TEARS AND PAIN...WHY
I am sure each of you as I do still every since we lost our child wonder why...in the early days the whys consumed me and I am sure each of you can relate and as hard as we searched, deep in us knew the answer was not to be found whether now or then. Lately I seem to be full of the pain again. The deep dark hole that I don't know how the find the top to pull myself out. Where is the helping hand..I don't know. As each of us lost our child differently, I know for mr with Ken's the victim of cancer, it seems daily I am reminded of cancer on TV as each of you are reminded of how what took your child from you. How do we recover in with the constant memory is constantly there. As I have watched the questions to Vice President and wanting to know if he will run for president. How difficult it must be for him to have to answer and be reminded over and I ver of the loss of his son to Brain Cancer. i can see the pain in his face and deep down he probably wishes as we would to let it be. I think now they have started to leave him alone. In politics or not he is a dad who has lost not just one but two of his children. He has no time to grieve. I don't resent the news or TV speaking of a possible cure but it keeps Ken's illness so fresh in my mind...THE Tears and Pain will probably be with us forever..Sometimes it is harder than other times as I am sure each of you know. We all have lost someone very dear to us. The TEARS AND PAIN AND WHY'S will always be a part of our life. We are a group of mom's that wish we could have changed the outcome of our child's life...yet we can't when our pain is deep we have each other to reach out to. Thanks to all who read and comments on my journals. And YES on my last Journal. God gave us Ken on his last Christmas of his life on this earth, for that I am truly thankful. Love you Ken forever and ever your mom... But

Holding hands with all soth. Broken hearted, light passes in and also, out to the world. We understand only that we love and cannot give up on our kids. The relationship endures. We must try to live as compassionate, loving and hopeful as we can. We are here on earth to hug and help. Love, Abby
Yes love is truly the answer and we must live in that light. Peace, Kathy
It is so true what you said. Only when we have lost a child, can we recognise that deep, consuming pain in another parent. I also still battle with many WHY\'s about my precious Colleen.........
Warm hugs to you! xxx
I hear you Sandi. I too am reminded almost daily of how Lisa died. The talk of \'easy\' weight loss plans, stars touting the wonders for bariatric surgery etc. Like you, I don\'t resent those who have had success with surgery or with Jennie Craig etc, but it hurts like the dickens.
We lost our children around the same time. Although we can laugh and enjoy life, our pain is always there. Some days the pain overwhelms us. I am so sorry you are visiting the ugly black hole. I hope you find the way out soon. Just know you aren\'t alone.
Love and tight hugs, M
I am sorry that you have to endure this wave yet again. They are further between but seem stronger while they are here..
This journey is certainly not a straight path - there are so many twists & turns, each with its own hurdle to jump over. (sometimes crawling by that hurdle because it just takes too much energy to jump). Losing my Jennifer to cancer is always present in my mind. Working in the medical field, it never leaves - however in saying that - I have more empathy for families going through it with their child..I hate that I\'ve experienced it with Jennifer and I hate sometimes being part of a Moms group that no other mom wants to be part of but here we are......offering comfort, understanding, love and sometimes a glimmer of hope as we sit in our dark hole.
Sandi - I am here with you.....I watched my Jennifer slip away to that awful disease.....My heart with yours.....((((hugs))))) Vicki
The painful days are so very challenging and you are doing all that you can. Feeling them...
With you and feeling much compassion as only another mother can understand these depths. Deepest of sighs...
You have many bubble watchers waiting and watching as you surface when you are ready to.
Loving care dear Sandi to Ken and to you from Douglas and me,
XO Joanie
Pain sometimes feels like our middle name. Sometimes we hide it sometimes we cannot. It seems to take up our mind which leads to our heart hurting. It doesn\'t sit on the shelve very well it follows us all over. As Vicki said this path is difficult and never ending.
Go easy on yourself, this is a bumpy ride, we are all in it together....
Loving care and big tight hugs

My son died in a car accident. I almost always fear for my survivin children when they go on long trips or ride their scooters. I never think about illness as that hasn\'t hit home like it did for you. We dwell on what we have experienced and been through. It\'s something that will always be there. We can put it in our pockets but grab it anytime. I hope that black cloud leaves you soon and you see some sunshine. Much love. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Robin
