TCM and me
After a crap week of feeling like becoming a mother will never happen, my book arrived...The Fertility Cure. After reading the first few pages, I could not put it down. everything that these women were going through, I am experiencing now. With proper diet, exercise, acupuncture and herbs they were able to conceive. What I love about the book, is that it says that all women who have working reproductive organs (even if they miss periods or ovulate a few times during the year) can conceive a child once their ailments or imbalances are found. I am pretty textbook PCOs and if there is away to get my ovaries healthier and eggs stronger then I am going to try it. I am so sick of the drugs. I wonder that by forcing ovulation to happen, the egg might not be the best then a miscarriage is inevidable. This probably happened to me in December. After this round with the Arimidex and I am going to go on a 4 month cleansing of my system to help my ovaries work more efficiently. TCM will help PH balance my uterus for conception. TCM recommends, no refine sugars or white starches, exercise moderately (walking), take a herb to settle insulin and acupucture closer to ovulation time. This sounds so much more appealing then going through hot flashes or breast pain because of a drug that it suppose to be used to treat cancer than fertility. I have to reconcile with myself that fertility is not going to happen when I want it to. It is going to take a few months and I really have to keep up with it. There are no easy fixes out there. If there was, then there would not be any IF problems.
