Taxes, Yech

I put them off as long as I could.  Started figuring this morning, I make it a ritual. No accountants, or H&R Block. I do my own. I am terrible with numbers. I see them backward, forward and round and round. The tax form instructions are easy enough for me to understand. I know what to do; 1040, 1099, 8962, Schedule E. Spent a few hours with the numbers. Owed the IRS over $600 at one point around noon. Ugh! Finally came down to fifty bucks, that's what they're getting, if they want more they can ask politely for it. I threw it all down and went out and planted peas. I have what, eight more days?

Heh, heh. fifty bucks plus.... I\'m not telling how much, but I will say they\'ll get back the extra subsidies they paid for me to have Obamacare last year.

looking good....I am going to try my own taxes next year...I own my own business...and can do them I think....I paid HR NOCK too much of a knock this year....over $400 to do my taxes but I needed them badly....they saved me $15000 by doing them for me....there was a student loan forgiveness last year to tune of $78K and if they had not been there to determine that I was insolvent at the time of the forgiveness I would have owed $15000 tax....ochie....

good for you on getting them done yourself....hugs bill
