Tax return delema
Two days ago the soon to be x was threatening to move out and taking the kids and not paying my bills. Our income tax was about to hit the bank and he said he was using all of it to secure his new apartment. The courts have not yet decided on the Alimony yet. So I went and put 1/2 the tax return in my own account. He claims I have broken the law and he is pissed. According to everything I have read I am entitled to half the return. So I took mine. Does anyone else see a problem with what I did?

You are entitled to half. That\'s what the court would probably do too.
How old are the kids? I am sorry your going through this. It\'s such a stressful battle. I got most of ours cause I needed a car.
The kids are 16, 17, 19, 21, 23

Boy is he ever barking up the wrong tree. You are entitled to half of the matrimonial assets. My sweet innocent ex-husband tried the same thing. He lost big time. Be prepared for more of the same. They would rival Stephen King in fiction writing. Hugs my friend.
