Tantrum over...

Apologies to anyone reading yesterday's entry. I just had a moment where I felt like everything was futile and that there was no point in any of this venture as the end result is always going to be the same. But, I am happy to say that I am over that now. I did a bit of research into how long these HCG symptoms last and I know that it is for 2 weeks...which will take me up to the point when my period is due. Fun times for my poor husband!! I have been extremely tired and moody, my nipples are sore and....did I mention the moodiness?? I cried during the Secret Life of Walter Mitty the other night...you know when he finally sees the quintessential photo and it is him and oh...boy, it will get me started again. I am also snaping people's heads off left right and centre as evidenced by my journal entry yesterday. I guess I am overly anxious about things so I am thinking that the best way to approach the next 10days is to pretend that we aren't trying for a baby and that all the symptoms I am getting are the direct result of the HCG shot. Oh am also getting bloating and feel like the fattest person on record. I though that the HCG hormone was supposed to enhance athletic performance too....it really didn't. The only reason I was going any faster than normal was because I wanted to beat the girl in the lane next to me and also because of my high percentage of body fat at the moment making it very easy for me to float in the water. (i know I am so nasty at times...but really am just trying to see the funny side!)
So I am about to get my cook on this morning as it is dreary and miserable out and all we want to do is pretend the world doesn't exist.
ok now for my three things...
1. I am grateful for our democratic society, we voted yesterday....not many countries in the world allow their people that freedom. Also, I am a woman, there are so many place all over the world that don't allow their women to have a say. I am so thankful that I live ina country where I have rights.
2. I am grateful foor good food. We went to a friend's house last night and I was cooked the most amazing food...I am so grateful for the availability of all this fresh produce that is so easily accessable.
3. I am grateful for your support here...I don't know what I would do without this place to come and vent to.

It\'s okay to lose it sometimes. This process is horrible and if you didn\'t have those moments, you wouldn\'t be human!

Sorry for your bad day. It\'s totally normal, but I\'m happy that it only lasted the day. Hang in there!
