Tangents and grooves
I had to leave the Music Junky's because the members drink to much. The main writer does not drink like the rest but is to loyal to leave them right now. Maybe in time I can convice him to take it to the next level. I guess for now I will consentrate on my own projects and leave this one alone. Sad because we could really had gone far but it would have been one hell of a fall when it all came crashing down. So I've learned to jump off while we are all still friends and work it into something that really will fly later. Hopefully I will finish my CD as I have promised this summer. Looking forward to getting it done and recording my drum tracks. That was the real reason for forming the Music Junky's was to get practice on the drums any way.

Wow, big step my dear friend, but you knew what you needed to do, and making this decision must have been hard for you, but you chose what felt to be the right decision for you, at this particular time.

Too many lose their chance at a shot at this profession for their lack of devotion, but you my friend, you went through something that most doesn\'t and have seen the light, which is why I have confidence that you will survive in this business.
Don\'t know if I\'ve ever mentionned this to you, but my brothers were the most talented people around here, they were known everywhere around hundreds of miles radius.
Had it all, a couple of backers (my father and ex husband), an agency that kept them booked for weeks and eventually months in advance, only to have them turned in alcoholics and drug addicts, and eventually lost it all to a Bar fire, which put a ALT to it all.
The fire was a set up by the owner, and the boys had no insurance on their equipment, being that the quotes for insuring music instruments that would be left in a bar at night, made it impossible to pay the much to high premiums.
So they lost it all, filled with debts, but the boys being into their own little world at this point, stopped paying their monthly payments, and left the backers deal with it, which eleminated any further chances of them ever being able to function again, in this business as they had been in the past few years of their short success.
So my friend, I am all for you going at it, by yourself.
You have it all, the talent, the good head on your shoulder, and the strong will to persue your dream.
Go for it, and I will look out for your music in the near future.
