Taking Over
He's trying to take over. Kit, the wonder dog is trying to take over. It's going to be a battle. First, it was the bed,,,sleeping as close to me as he can in the worst places. He's confining me to one spot on a king size bed! I may have solved the problem. I have placed the other pillow next to me at an angle near the center of the bed, leaving a small area at the lower end that he seems to like. I'll find out tonight. And he loves the bed! A little too much I think. He jumps on it every chance he gets which leads to another battle,,,a battle for the two bedrooms. The doors to the rooms are closed during the day with the door to our bedroom opened just before bedtime. Neither doors close all the way and he has managed to open them enough to get in. This means that not only does he have access to the bed, but two more rooms to "bury" milk bones. He's even brought a milk bone to the bed. Nobody brings food to the bedroom. Not even me. I'll have to work on the doors He has many places to lay down and sleep,,,the floor, half a couch, and a big pillow in the hall. But, he wants more and has decided my recliner is a great place and jumps on it when I get up. He can fall asleep faster than any dog I've ever seen and acts like I'm punishing him when I ask him to get off. He still tries to limit my time on the computer. Now, he's trying to get away with all this by falling asleep in my lap every once and a while. That's not fair! Its a tough fight and I'm not sure who will win, but it'll be fun.
