Taking Charge
I just called Wicab the manufacturer of the BrainPort Balance device to ask:1) when I will get to have a trial of the 2nd device; and2) when they expect FDA approval. I am really proud of myself for looking up the phone number and just callingthe company.I guess I figured that I gave them a lot by letting them have my data in the clinicaltrial. I deserve to have them answer the phone and answer my questions. So...they said that I would not get the second device until next summer. :(They thought they might have FDA approval in about a year. They will send me info about purchasing it in Canada or Europe!

Did you receive information from Wicab about purchasing the Brainport device? Was using the device everything you could have imagined and more? I\'m in the process of going up to Canada to participate in their training for 30 days and if all goes well and the device works for me, purchase it.

My results from the device were *amazing*!
It was much more that I could have ever imagined.
It is available for purchase for $10,000USD.
The training in Canada for 3 days will be $650.
There are several reasons that I am hesitant to purchase one.
I wish there were a rental program. There is in Canada for residents and I am guessing there will be one in the US once it is FDA approved there.
