Taking a break

Hi dear friends and sisters of the heart. I know we as the DS and FMO community are grieving the passing of sweet Kelsey. Thanks to all of you for your kind words and support as all of you know I was quite close to Kelsey. Ken and I had planned to visit her in England and have her visit us in the US on "holiday" as she would say.
Joshua and Christina, my grandchildren came over last night. Christina is heartbroken for Kelsey. They had recently become friends on Facebook. Christina & her boyfriend brought Isyabella over and as Joanie says these grandchildren are little healers. I held Isyabella as much as I could. Kelsey had become part of our extended family and I hold Kelsey's aunites Suz and Gail and her cousin Chelsea in high regard. They so love her and Kelsey loved them. Our pastor called as our church had been praying for Kelsey. He would've stopped by but he's been very sick with a virus.
I am going to take a little break from writing on my journal. I am tired, sad and just need to cocoon. I will be reading journals and I will keep you all close by in my heart and prayers but I am not up to writing right now.
Kelsey, I was so blessed to know you. I love you. xoxoxo

You take all the time you need dear Linda and I will be holding you in my heart. I am so relieved to know that you are as compassionate with yourself as you are with others. Your job, your home life and FMO all require so much giving. Now, it\'s time to receive. Hold that baby Isyabella and allow your loving family to enfold you. Rest dear one... All my love and continued prayers are yours, Joanie

Linda, I understand your need to cocoon. I thank you for keeping us informed about Kelsey. I didn\'t know her as well as you, but her passing is consistently on my mind. So very sad. I have prayed for her then and now. I know she is in the best care now. Sending you love, comfort and peace. Roselle

Linda, Kelsey was so blessed to have you as a friend. Now you have to go through another painful loss and goodbye. How sad that this is the price that we have to pay for being loving caring people. Wrap yourself in a blanket of our love and friendship and know that you can reach out to me any time that you need someone to talk with.

Understanding the need to cocoon for a while....take all the time your heart needs. Kelsey was blessed to have had you in her life, even for such a short while. You touched her soul and she touched yours....what a precious gift for both of you. Tight hugs and so much love, Teri.

Take all the time you need, it is better to stand still and feel the pain, and that begins the journey to healing. We all know it\'s a long, hard one....but we\'ll be walking with you, believe that! And God will be, too. Love you!

Oh Linda, if only our hearts could heal as much as they love. Some days it feels like all we can do to keep going. You are such a beautiful loving generous person and I know what a blessing you were for Kelsey.
Be still and know that the divine is present, everywhere.
Love, Sarah

Linda, I certainly understand. I have been lost in thought today over our Kelsey. I felt motherly toward her, as I guess everyone did. It was so sweet of you to be able to pull her into your family so that they all knew her. She will be missed but she is having a blast where she wanted to be all along. I envy her so much. I have wondered if she just willed herself to die....I have so felt like it myself when the pain gets so overwhelming. I guess if it were that easy there would not be many of us here. Take care....I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts and will be calling you dear friend. I love you....and your darling Eddie....xoxoxo, dale, brandon\'s mom

Take all the time you need Linda. You are a kind and giving person - it is easy to neglect yourself in an effort to help others.
Love and hugs,
