taken for a fool - again and again
I'll admit......it's bothering me a bit but I know I have to let it all go. Got the call from school today......T had bad sore throat...... He complained about it last night and it did sound like he had a marble down his throat when he talked but I suggested he stick it out for an hr & a half so anyway..... He told me he believed he had strep, had to rest at home, and asked me to make an appointment with the doctor. I was on the phone for about 30 minutes or so but managed to get one for him. So....I take him in and no strep. He was told it is viral and was given some things he can take to help him feel more comfortable. Well....it was a gorgeous day out but I told him when I received the call that he had to promise to stay home if I permit him to leave, even if he's feeling "better". Well, the rascal left the house when I was in the backyard. Yes, and strangely enough......he was sick on a Wednesday - which gets him out of staying after school. He's such a baby. I know he's delayed in the maturity department BIG TIME due to his ADD, but particularly because of his drug use. Arrested Development. I see glimmers of maturity every so often and then expect it to stay.
