Take this job and shove it!

Just a rant.  I am so angry with this job!  I turned in a doctor's note and bent over backwards so that  I would not have to endure all the walking involved with teaching the computer class here.  So, now the evil witches whom I work with have decided they don't want to do all that walking either. Now the supervisor wrote up a schedule that each of us has a day where we have to get up and walk and get the door.  I am included in that schedule as well.   So, if I am using my cane or walker or wheelchair on those days in which I am scheduled to answer the door, what do I do?  I thought my doctor's note would cover that issue.  It specifically states that "the walking involved" is too much.   I feel I will have to discuss this with my supervisor.  I just want to calm down and get some feedback from others before I do.  I am so sick of the things the other girls do to "get even" with me.  They act like I am getting special treatment so they don't want to do their jobs either.  I feel like they think my disability is all a fake.

I would talk to your sup.. If you are under doctors orders not to do all the walking and you have turned in all of your paper work, you are covered. If the other \"ladies\" are just being lazy and fussed to get out of it, I would tell my sup. that they should still have to do it unless they have a doctors explanation. Sometimes you just have to look at them and say \"no\" I will not do that.

My mom was on disability before she passed away, she was still working. Her job would try to push her into doing things that the doctors told her not to do, why?! So if she did it once then they could turn around and say she did it the one time so she can do it all the time.

I think your doctors note covers it. You know the old say give them an inch they will take a mile?! I think that is what they are trying to do to you.

I sure wish you the best and I am so sorry you are having to deal with inconsiderate people! (hugs) to you! Lisa

I\'m sorry that they are giving you a hard time. I would talk to the supervisor and explain that you had a note from the doctor to excuse you from those duties. The other ladies would had to just get over it. Good Luck!

I agree the doctor\'s note should cover you. The other so-called ladies are being lazy out of spite. Without a similar note they haven\'t an excuse. Do they want your condition? Ask them or maybe they would evade that too.
