Taitung Where to Buy Fun Souvenirs

Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Taipei, capital city of Taiwan. We had a great time following the trail backwards and seeing the forest and seaside parks, as well as market gardens on the outskirts of town. One section is currently blocked, but it was easy enough to cycle around it. Giant picture frame, international landmark the lights up at night, ocean views with stacked rocks, and a Taitung sign... With modern simplicity design and color usage, we bring the spirit of “nature”, “cozy”, “vivid”, and “handy” into this brand. Along with “a little extra don’t cost extras” motto, we provide you the best quality of services, and make us become the best choice of our segment in the same area.
It is less showy, with no Queen’s Head rock or anything like it. Still, this rocky stretch of coastline is pretty, with lots 臺東伴手禮 of little tidal pools to explore. Here are the attractions you will pass in order after driving north from Taitung city.

From coastal areas to mountain highs, Taitung greets visitors to a land of ecological richness and scenic beauty. The county is also known for its distinctive local products, from premium rice, day lilies, hibiscus, and sugar apples to sailfish, bonito , and other specialty seafood items. The city’s biggest green space,Taitung Forest Park, is situated right at the edge of town. Note that these attractions are rather spread out, and it’s not always easy to find a taxi in Taitung city, nor is the public transportation very convenient. Therefore, I recommend renting a scooter or bicycle in front of the train station to get around.
Or a simplified option – buy root beer flavored sweets as souvenirs. I won’t say that this is a popular sweet, beer is much ahead of it, but it is also on sale. Australian wool is also environmentally friendly, as it’s a sustainable, biodegradable, and recyclable resource.
Hao’s founders to find innovative ways to save the culture and promote these exquisite products to both domestic and foreign consumers. Cheng Ping Hot Spring Inn (see on Booking / Agoda / TripAdvisor) is my recommended choice here. Hotel Royal Chihpen (see on Booking / Agoda / TripAdvisor) offers a more luxurious experience. After passing all the hot spring hotels, the road terminates at Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area (知本國家森林遊樂區), which features several walking trails through dense forest. Remote Taitung (台東 or Taidong) in the southeastern corner of Taiwan is a region of stunning beauty, especially along the coast and the inland East Rift Valley. Picture deserted beaches, colorful hot springs, and vistas of rice paddies backed by mountains – now you’re in Taitung.

You should be fine if you're used to hiking and physical trainings, yet I wouldn't recommend anyone who doesn't or to bring kids along. Cutest shops and photo ops - grab your food and art souvenirs here and some bites to eat while you are at it. I also recommend you to go to hot spring in early morning and you can look sunrise when you enjoy in hot spring .
taitung travel guideBrown avenue is a road that goes through rice fields in a rural Chishang township in Taitung County. This road is famous because the coffee brand Brown has filmed many promotional videos here. This place does not have a power line, but only a green color of young rice, so it is also known as a “green road of paradise”. Coming to Brown avenue, visitors can make friends with the fields and mountains, can relax, escape the hustle and bustle of the present life and freely experience the life in a rural countryside.

taitung travel guideWhen coming to the festival, you will have the opportunity to see and check in with many hot air balloons of all shapes and colors. Not only that, you can also buy a hot air balloon ticket to see a beautiful Taitung from above.
This is just a pullover on the highway, but I recommend stopping to enjoy the epic coastal view. The hot spring is accessed on the remote Southern Cross-Island Highway . After an hour’s drive along the highway from Chishang, you’ll need to park and follow a steep downhill trail for 90 minutes. Finally, you’ll need to cross the river to access the hot pools.
You can look out over the vast Pacific Ocean and imagine the islands of Polynesia. The West Coast may be more civilized, but the East Coast is more scenic. We walked the length of the park and popped out on the ocean side to a gorgeous view.

The adventure starts with scaling the steep steps of the bridge that leads to a network of footpaths, seaside caves, potholes and rich fauna and flora. It takes about two hours to explore the islands so make sure you have sufficient time and check the weather before venturing to Sanxiantai. Tiehua Music Village and Taitung Railway Art Village are both a 15-minute drive away. Featuring a balcony with mountain views, each air-conditioned room here will provide a TV, refrigerator and tea/coffee facilities.
Taitung is situated on a small plain between the mountains and the ocean at the southern mouth of the East Rift Valley. This provides Taitung with not only spectacular scenery but also an ocean breeze that makes this tropical city surprisingly comfortable. Taitung was developed by the Japanese in the early part of the 20th century and they were responsible for the construction of the roads and railway to the area. This in turn brought an influx of Han Chinese settlers into the area that already had several indigenous groups, creating a diverse city of indigenous, Hakka, and Hoklo populations.
There are many other cycling trails like the scenic Chishang trail and challenging routes on Green and Orchid islands for those looking for a challenge. Tea has been Taiwan’s best-known agricultural products for centuries, and visiting tea plantations is one of Taiwan’s top tourist activities. These plantations stretch from Northern Taiwan to the southern tip of the islands.
