Stopping for a refuel stop at the farmer’s market of bananas, peanuts and sweet pineapple and pawpaw, we end our trip at one of Santo’s legendary Blue Holes – crystal-clear, deep iridescent blue pools unique to Vanuatu. These natural phenomena are formed when underground streams originating in the island's western ranges resurface as springs, cutting deep circular pools into the karst. Filtered by limestone, the water in these holes is pure and gin-clear, manifesting in luminous shades of blue. Departing by Zodiac along the canal, our sunset cruise returns to theSpirit of Enderby. Cathay pacific has frequent flights through hong kong and the newer reroutes through mainland china is competitive, china southern is not bad. Eva air is the best of taiwan airlines but nothing special. The flag carrier of Taiwan, China airlines, is best avoided in my opinion.

In your opinion, which would be the livelier place to stay in Kaohsiung; around the HSR terminal, the old train station or the seafront area? Or another alternative is doing the East Coast of Taiwan. Since I'll be in Taipei with my friend for 5 days I will move out of Taipei. I am thinking book a hotel in Kaohsiung and spending two days in this city and use the train for an hour to day trip to Tainan.
Anyone sampled China Air in J on the new A350 yet?. We then used Express Airport MRT when we returned which was perfect and I’d definitely recommend over taxi/bus if staying near a train station. Also a couple Ubers/Taxi’s when needed outside of MRT which were fairly cheap. One thing i really really like about Taiwan is the people, they are super nice and helpful. Customer service in shops and restaurant were top notch too .
We were there three weeks ago with the highlight being seeing the Pandas fed at the Taipei Zoo. Do the numbers – how cheap for such an amazing experience. Hey guys, I'm heading to Taipei start of January and just wanted to know if there are a lot of places to exchange over there and if exchange rate will be better than getting it done in Australia. Have a look at the Cosmos Hotel at the Main Station, literally is 20s walk to the underground station where access to any part of Taipei via the Metro is a cinch as is any part of Taiwan via the TRA or High speed network. But of course in Taipei, there's no shortage of Starbucks coffees and fast food outlets. I didn't buy a SIM card but my friend, whom I was travelling with, bought one at Taoyuan airport without any dramas.
The government of Taitung County has adopted a "slow economy" as its development goal and has gradually built up the brand value of "truth, goodness, and beauty" exclusively for Taitung. Therefore, in recent years, the Taitung County Government has launched a variety of activities to allow visitors to experience the beauty of Taitung in various ways. There are many taxis in Taitung, however a majority tend to congregate around the Old Railway Station.
