Taco night!
Hello my friends! Here I am feeling pretty good and keeping busy! Cool front on it's way tonight! It's supposed to last at least the week! Highs to be about 62 F . I will enjoy it for as long as it doesn't rain and the humidity stays low. A few weeks ago or maybe it was a month now! LOL! My husband promised our son Eric that we would have taco night again real soon like within a week at latest! Well he got too busy and it got put off and then we forgot! LOL! Nice of our son to let it pass for now. My husband thought we might be able to have it tonight but then he got delayed on chores by rain. And before we knew it it was too late to let him know and we still needed to go to the store for ingredients! LOL! Maybe next week we will get it together before we forget again! I dont' know! I think as long as my husband is on grave yard shift hours we will not be able to manage anything but last minute meals for our selves. Burned myself on iron today! It's not bad though. Just raised red mark on arm. You coould say I was due for a burn. I haven't burned myself in months! And I iron more since my hubby went full time with police department! But that's not what I was ironing when I did it! LOL! I decided I didn't like the creases on the hem on a sheet! LOL! I don't care if the sheet is a little wrinkled but this was the edge that was bunched up and that does bug me! So since I was taking the iron out anyway I decided to iron that out too! That'll teach me! Well at least it's not blistering huh?Some of you may never burn yourself on an iron but I can't seem to do anything slow other than type and that's why I have a better chance at injury! So far none serious! Unless you count the time I took apart my oldest boys weight machine all by myself and pulled , maybe torn a little muscle in my back. LOL! He was moving out and I was thinking that while he was putting boxes in truck I would get that done. Guess I should have done something else huh? LOL! Well if I would have just stopped half way I would have been ok, but no I got to finish what I started and can't wait to get things done as it is! My arm muscles were nice and pumped up though! LOL! And still today I have to watch it cause it never healed all the way! I did go to the ER and they x-rayed it. But was told that it only looked pulled and not a enough blood in the urine to count for more serious injury! Well I waited several hours before I even went and then had to wait several more before I was seen! But I didn't have insurance so I figure they couldn't afford to care since I wasn't dying! Well I'm here so guess not! LOL! : )
