Synthrod at Night to Armour!
So, a few months back, I got my endo to agree to let me "try" taking Synthroid at night versus taking it in the morning. He advised that he was all for it and just reminded me to keep an empty stomach 2 hours before I take it. I felt no difference to begin with but loved the fact that I could wake up and eat whatever I wanted without the 'waiting' period after taking my morning dose. I eventually added the T3 into my daily dose and took the Synthroid at night before bed and the T3 (ctyomel) every morning upon waking up. I felt GREAT at first but then got sluggish again in the late afternoons. So, my endo increased my T3 to twice a day instructing me to take the one dose upon waking up (8 am daily) and the other dose after lunch (around 1 or 2 pm). It became too much for me though (palpitations) so back to the one dose only. My labs looked AWESOME aside from my TSH being too low but that was due to the T3 that I was taking. However, the sluggish feeling every day and the need for a nap every afternoon really was bothering me. I asked my endo to switch me to Armour and just let me "try" it to see if there was any difference in my level of energy and he said there was no need to based on my Free T4 and Free T3 as it was looking textbook great. Another month went by and I decided to see my GYN about my thyroid slugglish symptoms and she willingly prescribed Armour. I am currently on Synthroid 112 mcg daily and she has prescribed 1 1/2 grain (90mg) of Armour for me to take daily. I am excited, scared, nervous, but relieved as I will begin my journey with Armour as of tomorrow. I will update as I make this transition and let you all know my experience with Armour as it unfolds. I have not had any issues with Synthroid other than the sluggishness in the afternoons. Wish me luck as I take the Armour journey!

Hey, taking the Armour Journey, I wish you well. Armour gave me my normal stamina that I had pre-HYPO. I\'m glad your GYN prescribed it for U.
feel free to keep me posted.
