I chose the lines and colours in the hair because I wanted to make it look like there was a rainbow in my hair. I painted this dragon to cheer people up and let them know that not everything is scary. It is based of the Wings of Fire character, Kinkajou, for her loving personality and always being happy and ready for anything. I used warm colours and cool colours to create the different birds' personality. I drew parrots because they have colourful feathers and live in tropical rainforests. This portrait of Pig The Pug was in response to our unit of work looking at the representation of friendship in children's literature.
John is bilingual in both Chinese and English and has been exposed to both the western and Chinese educational systems. Taking 4-Unit Maths in high school, he is also very confident in teaching the mathematical and numerical areas of study to both beginner and advanced students. I value the passion and affection towards a subject and aim to utilise this in my teaching. John believes that music is not limited to art classes for kids anybody and he thrive to assist those who have difficulty in their area of study and to allow them to accomplish their absolute best. It shows how wonderful the colours of the outside world is and the glamorous side of life. KC completed this artwork after reading the story The Dirty Dinosaur by Janeen Brian. We drew dinosaur using watercolours to paint the background and pencil. Amy used her artistic skills to add her own touch to the artwork. Kids love rainbows, so I drew this funky monkey in rainbow colours to make kids feel happy and colourful. Thee eye-catching headphones symbolise blocking out negativity.

I chose the Lorax as my subject matter because he appears happy with all the animals around him. I used colourful pastels and watercolours to make my drawing bright and cheerful. This artwork depicts a frilled neck lizard and how it faces head on the threats and dangers of surviving in an increasing urbanised environment.
