This subject introduces students to theories and models of case conceptualisation which is evidence-based art therapy assessment and hypothesis development within the context of case management. Students will utilise case conceptualisation frameworks to hypothesise on and identify a client’s concerns, note how the difficulties developed and highlight the client’s strengths.

In her private practice, she uses her hand painted stones in expressive therapy work appreciating that this allows client to interact directly with objects from nature. Katerina has a Master degree in psychology and is a teacher of psychological disciplines and a practicing psychologist in the Ukraine. She is an art therapist, trauma therapist and developer of methods for psychodiagnostic research into the art of painting on stones and the use of these skills in therapeutic activities. This means that students have the ability to undertake online learning from learning management systems, wikis and web video conferencing, which is all facilitated by the institution.
No matter what kind of floristry you’re interested in, there’s a floral workshop for you to try. In this unit, you will extend your understanding of 3D modelling by demonstrating advanced skills and knowledge in grey-box level design and UV mapping techniques for the application of textures to a 3D model. Building upon what you have learned in GDD101 Level design theory and GDC101 Introduction to game art, you will apply the principles of game art to efficiently create 3D models for proof of concept of your game design vision. To enhance rapid PoC development, you will also learn modular level design and rapid prototyping techniques for the quick iteration and turnover of your level design ideas in response to player input and feedback.
It will teach you the skills required to work effectively in a game studio environment, including agile development methodologies, playtesting, and game prototype development. You will be assessed on your ability to create an initial game prototype and a final game prototype as a team, as well as present your work and evaluate your team's performance. In this unit, you will learn how to develop a 2D game prototype using agile development methodologies and effective teamwork. Building upon skills learnt in GDC100A, you will use a game engine to design a basic level and iteratively produce a game prototype with other team members who have diverse skills in game art, design, and programming. In second year, students commence study in a studio specialisation nominated from studio areas studied in the previous semester. The year is project-based and supports the development of individual work practices in preparation for the final year of the degree.

Prior to accepting the role as Head of Animation and Game Development at JMC Academy, Sean taught animation, video design and screen-based media at UTS for over twenty years. The course begins with an introduction to the pipeline through the creation of simple prop objects such as telephone poles and signs.
Course delivery is a combination of lectures, tutorials, arts workshops, group discussion, self-directed study and workplace learning.
