Happy Monday! :) we got lots of sunshine, and joy in our hearts, as we begin a new week, with health improvements, and my energy, and strength building up :) Thank you angel friends :) It's the day after the big games of this past weekend, and even though my Redskins team didn't win, i'm still very extremely proud of them :) what an amazing season they had, and gave us fans, a season to believe, to hope, excitement, and a season to remember :) it's a nice start to the new week :) i'm feeling better, my cold has eased up a lot, i feel my energy and strength replenishing :) it's a nice sunny day :) i did some stretching today, i did some tidying up here in my computer room, and i'm ready to blossom into some nice writings here in my writing area :) hot tea CHEERS! :) We're going out tomorrow for sweet treats tuesday, to get some treats :) Enjoying the beautiful blue sky and sunny nature today :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a peaceful day :) i'm so glad, and thankful to be feeling better :) i got a really good night's rest last night, and when i woke up this morning, i could feel both my energy, and strength, has built up more, and is replenishing :) i'm very happy to be feeling better, and even doing some stretching today, and tidying up my computer room :) easing into the new week :) that cold i had, since wednesday evening last week, really lingered, and got the best of me at times, but i've taken really good care, and this is the past i've felt, since last week. :) We woke up to a beautiful sunrise this morning, and our nature animal friends were very happy to see me, as i returned to my early morning nature walks, putting lots of goodies around our yard :) i was unable to go out yesterday, as my body felt weak, and it was stormy, with rain, winds, and thunder during the day. it's great to see the return of the sunshine today, with that sweet blue January sky :)
It's January 11th today, and this day, always holds a special place in my heart :) January 11th, 2007, is the day i joined DS, 9 years ago, and now, entering my 10th year here on ds, it's a wonderful feeling. :) beautiful friendships we all share, and have made over the years, it's really wonderful, and a heart-felt joy :) my family and i are very thankful for, and blessed with your friendships :) across the miles, us all sharing heart-felt joys, encouragement, support, friendships, that warm our hearts :) Thank you all, for bringing us that joy, and special feelings of friendship happiness, each and every day, throughout the seasons, months, and years :) Cheers! to you all, as i enter my 10th year here on ds, and cheers to the next 10 years too! :) We love you all very much, and we appreciate you all. :) You all are family to us, and my family and i will always be here for you all :)
A SEASON TO REMEMBER! :) THANK YOU REDSKINS!!! :) Thank you our dear angel friends, for cheering on my Redskins with us, throughout the season, into the playoffs :) i first want to say, how very proud i am, of the Redskins and their accomplishments this season :) They gave us a season of hope, a season to believe, a season of excitement, and most importantly, a season to remember :) my Redskins team, battled with all of their hearts, to the very final minutes and plays, of their wildcard playoff game yesterday. They gave it their all, and played with all of their hearts, and even in defeat, they make me so proud to be a fan, and make me feel so hopeful, going forward, that this new team they have put together, and team they have grown to become, 2015 nfc east champions, it gives me the greatest of hope that they will continue to rise and win each season. :) i love being a fan :) it's always tough, when our team loses, but knowing i put my heart, spirit, and soul into the season with them, cheering them on, it truly is a very rewarding feeling :) The season was a journey, and really gave all us fans reason to be hopeful, going forward. :) being in the moments of the games, cheering, it was awesome! it was a fun season :) and i'm so proud to be a fan :) i love my team :) HTTR! Redskins fan forever :)
it was a wild, wildcard matchup yesterday evening :) oh my! :) my Redskins came out, rolling, in the 1st quarter of the game :) Holly and i were on the phone, we had the Redskins radio, and gamecast on :) it was very exciting, as the Redskins came out, got a safety, 2 points, then almost got touchdown, but made a field-goal. it was 5-0, and then the Redskins scored a touchdown in the early 2nd quarter, to make it 11-0. wow!!! the fans on the radio, they were cheering, it was absolutely thrilling! :) wow!!! Holly and i were cheering too, and so excited! :) The Packers came back though, with a big 2nd quarter, they scored 17 straight points to take the halftime lead. in the 3rd quarter, Redskins came out, with a flourish of good solid plays, and scored a touchdown to take the lead, 18-17. wow!!! The Packers came back with a touchdown, and then got another one. it was suddenly 32-18, with 12 minutes left, and the Redskins battled on, but came up short. Holly and i cheered them on, until their final plays of the game, they gave it their all, they left all they had, out on the field, and even in defeat, 35-18, they still made us fans proud. it was hard to see them lose, but in the final minutes of the game, i was talking with Holly, about the season, and how magical, and memorable it was, cheering each week, and displaying all of my Redskins collectibles, tuning into the radio, and gamecast. :) team spirit. :)

STILL LOTS OF FOOTBALL LEFT TO ENJOY! :) the divisional round of the playoffs begins next weekend, with 8 teams left in the playoffs :) i'm a big football fan, and will definitely be tuning into the playoffs games :) There's some great matchups, next weekend :) Patriots vs Chiefs, Steelers vs Broncos, Cardinals vs Packers, and Seahawks vs Panthers :) It's gonna be very exciting to see, which 4 teams will advance to championship sunday on January 24th :) good luck to all of the teams! :) The journey to superbowl 50 is on! :)
We're enjoying a nice sunny day :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits, beginning the new week with sunshine :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed some baked potatoes, and had some cheddar cheese too :) lunch was delicious! :) i've been continuing to eat very healthy, so far, i've lost 4 pounds this new year :) i'm feeling better today, and i think with another good night's rest, i'll feel even better tomorrow :) We're going to mcdonalds in the morning, to get some treats, we love sweet treats tuesday :) Holly and i want to watch a movie on amazon instant video, we may watch the movie tonight, or tomorrow night :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) There's many more great things to look forward too, with family, friends, and nature :)

Happy DS anniversary. It is so nice to have DS to come on and make new friends. We never met in person but all of us feel like we know each other. It so graet to share our ups and downs with each other.
Love the picture of the little woodpecker. He is so adorable. Mr Nut squirrel made his appearance and he is also so cute. I can\'t wait until our wild animal friends come back. I miss them this time of the year.
