Sweet Slumber
I am finally sleeping again. Last night I decided that I need to go into the woods for awhile, so, about an hour from here are some treehouses I plan on staying in for a weekend. Of course, I told my roommate that I planned on doing this. I need to decompress and get back to nature. Be one with the chickens and trees.
This is exciting for me. As I was once a mover and and a shaker, I just stopped doing things I enjoy and that's not ME.. I need to live and enjoy life even if its just a treehouse. I read something this morning that said "Being alone will never cause as much lonliness as being in the wrong relationship". And I find thats it's so true. It's how Ive been feeling for quite some time.

I have a big elm tree behind my house that I have always wanted to build a tree house in ....to use as a place to escape or meditate. I never built it but I always imagined in my mind, exactly how I would build it and how big and how high up it would be.
Being alone, after my divorce was very scary to me at first but then I just accepted it and that was when the healing began. Sometimes I would just sit outside in the the sun for an hour or so and think of nothing except the birds chirping and when I did that, I always felt a gentle breeze as if mother nature was thanking me for coming into her territory to visit with her! It was all so very comforting like getting a hug from her and oh so very healing......
I'm excited, too. Where can *I* go sleep in a Tree House? I can even bring my chickens? Where do I sign up? Do they allow turkeys? I'm on the edge of my seat awaiting the tour review. No fair bogarting details.
Sounds like the return of sleep rested more than your physical system. Go you! ! !
Did you really use *just* in the same sentence as Tree House?
Ive always wanted to sleep in a treehouse. Its a hostel in Georgia. They have their named chickens they do a profile on weekly. If you google Hostel in the Forestt in Brunswick Ga it will pull up the website. Arfie, i think im losing my crackers....I have been so irritated at my roomie. When I get back from my Chicken loving excursion, I plan on putting my effort into looking for a second job and just saving as much as I can. In a few months I will letmy roomie know Thanks but No Thanks. Ive given him 2 chances and he wont make effort....so if I have to take occasional weekend exursions and get away from him and everything else I will. If I have to sleep in my auto I will for a few months to save for a place.
The friend who i had the falling out with texted me and called me a weak minded B**tch for being in counseling. I blocked him as I dont speak his language. Id rather talk to chickens.....
Thank you for the hot tip, Sage. It pulled the site right up. Color me envious! ! ! In awe, as well, that you are taking this retreat in the midst of this chaos. May the retreat sweep away the mental clutter and fill your self-confidence reserves.
I have never been able to take nor give "Bitch* as an insult. To the contrary, the white dog in my avi pict is my current tutor. Step up to the lectern, my furry witch. Teach me to be a REAL bitch. Persilly gets allot of admiration when we go on the road together. I like to quip, "Yea, one of us is a real bitch. I'll let you guess which one." "Arfie" is a derivative of my standard response to the intended insult. "Arfie arf. I bite if I have to."
The brown dog in the picture wants to know why you are bothering with a dog that can't handle a real bitch. Chickens are mucher funner. May you earn the honors of being henpecked. Chickens don't peck things they don't like. They'd rather run from stuff they don't like, but they, too, bite if they have to.
Enjoy. I'm looking forward to the update. Hope you learn the chicken names. They don't answer when you call (catty bitches), but I like giving my chickens names, too. Betty Boop is an ancona and looking like she likes playing dress up. I been draping my sunblock (a piece of fabric) over her head and getting visions of The Mod Flock.
