surviving one day at a time

Since the day i lost Michael, I survive one day at a time.  I try very hard to smile and have fun especially for my kids.  But there are days i just want to cry and not smile. I want to release all the pain inside of me.  I never imagined i would feel so empty and lonely without him.  I always thought we would be together until we grew old but life had other plans.  I some feel like a robot get up, shower, feed the kids, go to work, come home, shower, fees the kids, bath the kids, put them to bed, cry myself to sleep, and on my days off go shopping or to the park with the kids.  When will i feel like myself again.  I miss my husband so much that it hurts.

Maria you have been through a tremendous loss at such a very young age. you have been blessed with your new baby and without the help of Michael to take care of you and your children. there is no quick time period to heal from this loss. The fact that you get up every day and go through the motions and continue to take care of the family is a good sign that you will be okay. give your self the time to grieve, cry, yell and remember the good times. when your baby smiles at you think of it as a smile from Michael letting you know that the is watching over you.

My heart goes out to you. I can\'t imagine being so young and going through all that is on your plate. I pray for you and that as each day passes the pain will lesson. It\'s one day at a time. Sometimes one hour at a time. We are all different. Your in my thoughts and prayers. (((Linda)))
