survived husband family Christmas
Well, I survived the Brooks family Christmas on Saturday although Mike (hubby) wasn't real happy with me when I didn't want to go much of anywhere come Sunday. (Gee I wonder why? lol) Did manage to get out and buy our tree ornament for this year which was good. Thank goodness for my SIL and BIL they always take off soo much stress of these gettogethers. They just kind of take over. And they have timing when it comes to cooking. (I can cook, just lack timing for everything to be done at the same time.) Most amusing thing that happened was that my nieces was supposed to bring pop for the party and she brought one bottle for twelve people! Not only that but she was drinking it on the way down from her home. That bottle lasted about 3 glasses.
Realized I must have had a real brain fart recently and when thinking about it realized my cat is 15 not 13. Duh, I can add! sigh!
Anywho. Moore later -- Genny

I\'m glad you had a good time at the party and got to rest afterwards, too. I have trouble getting everything done at the same time, too. I\'ve learned that the microwave keeps things warm even when it\'s not turned on! It\'s a great tool! Oh, and I cover a lot of stuff with foil. That also keeps heat in the food. Anyway, I\'m glad you had a good time! *HUGS*
I have Christmas with the parents and family on Sunday here, I am always soo glad when it\'s over, so much fuss for everybody, so little joy, just seems like obligation to me. Gald you survived, congrats to you.
