Surprise...

So, I once again get woke up at 3:40 this morning, my lower half covered in vaseline, and him rubbing himself (for lack of a proper, acceptable term to put on here) between my legs--repeatedly. He would then attempt penetration, not "be ready", and resume rubbing until I finally started yelling that he was actually rubbing me raw and hurting me. He then says "well, I guess I'll give you a few minutes to settle down" over and over again. I lay there seething and wanting to rip his head off his shoulders. Surprisingly, after several minutes he actually got up and got ready for work instead of lighting into me about my inability to satisfy him or something to that effect--that was a twist. Maybe he could actually see the steam coming out the top of my head this morning.
So, of course at this point I could not go back to sleep--I've now got to get up and clean myself off in the shower so I can be ready to take the girls to the bus in a couple hours and then go to work. In a moment of crystal clear clarity I can see that he has created, not a family or a relationship in any kind of normal way, but his own personal slave system. I mean he is nothing if not intelligent, right. He has to be laughing at how great his life is, no wonder he won't let go without a fight.
He doesn't have to take any responsibility for anything--not even for himself. The $600 per month that he pays for rent is WAY less than he would be paying if he lived on his own. He doesn't have to worry about meals, because he has a personal chef and waitress to serve him, oh yeah and to pay for it--so he eats for free. He doesn't have to cover any of his incidentals, such as soap, or laundry, or deodorant--because he has made it clear that this too is MY responsibility. His clothes are clean, folded, and put away so they are always there when he needs them. His home is clean, the bed is made, and he can comfortably relax whenever he does come home because we are sure to leave him alone and be as quiet as possible--as he is "tired" and works hard so he deserves to be able to relax in his own home. He doesn't have to care for his children in any sense of the word--not financially, not physically, not emotionally. He gets to take sex when he decides he wants it. He acts scary and/or hurt when asked to take some responsibility for life, so I give up on it. He gets to look like the wonderful family man when it suits him, oh not WITH us in public, but he gets to blame that on me too. We have even paid for many of his toys, such as much of the renovation on the RV that he purchased, we even did much of the work with him. This was because it was a "family investment" and we could take family vacations together. 2.5 years later and the kids have never even ridden in it, actually neither have I, and he gets to take his friends and family members to the race track in it where they can be comfortable in the heat and not spend a lot of money on food as there is a kitchen. He tells me I know he doesn't camp, so why would I even suggest it?! (OH maybe because you SAID it, you jerk!!) Oh yeah, and everything he owns somehow gets put into my name.
Now he wants to file taxes together so he can maximize the money he gets back. The thing is the accountant he used last year had to be engaging in fraud activities because she allowed him to write off even the clothes that he has, medical bills he actually didn't have and more. Plus....tax money is the money I use to do the girls' spring/summer shopping; if he claims everybody HE will get that money too!!!

Talk to an accountant - and also to a lawyer. The fact everything is in your name may end up counting in your favour. But, along with what you said, it\'s another reason he won\'t let go easily, because you own everything he has.

Keep planning, keep working - you\'ll get there.

Definately start taking little steps to break away. If you haven\'t already, start making copies of everything! Look on the web for a list of things to do b4 you leave. I\'m in a similar boat. Things will go ok for awhile then blow. Then I\'m mad at myself for not being more prepared to leave. I\'ve dubbed this year as \"get ready\" year. Copy everything, talk to a lawyer, etc. You can do the same. Get ready slowly. It will prepare you mentally & emotionally to leave if you must or decide to. Just remember there\'s tons of emotional support out here for you! You\'re not in this alone! Hugs!
