Surgery was a success!!!

This is husband Howard making and update for Sherri. She wants you all to know that the surgery was a very big success. Everything went according to plan and the doctor says it could not have gone better. So far, so good!
This is just the first step, but it was a good one and Sherri is psyched to keep moving forward. She wants to thank all of you for your support and good energies which we believe were instrumental in her progress to date.
Please keep it up! As Sherri puts it, you are part of her Army of Strength, and a powerful army it is!

Me too on hoping to hear an update. I spent some time in prayer for you and Sherri yesterday while I was in chemotherapy

YEH! That\'s wonderful news. She\'s been in my thoughts and prayers & will continue to be :-) You\'re right - that\'s a BIG first step and it\'s such a relief to wake up knowing the surgery is done and went well! Let the healing begin :-) One day at a time and the adjustments being made, I think it won\'t be long that she\'ll be back home and on that beach with you, Howard. Thanks so much for coming to let us know. I was hoping you would come here to give us an update. And, if you have any questions during her recovery, we all have some experience with EC - whether ourselves or our loved ones helping us. My best to you guys. good for you sherri,i have to have chemo and radiation for 5 weeks before the surgery,then wait six weeks,then have surgery...mid october .i will pray for you so glad you did well,hope i do .trying to stay positive .debc.
