Surgery complete

Went down to St. Louis today for my surgery to have the "suspected polyp" removed. Turns out it was more like an abnormal growth than a polyp, which the Dr. said if he had known he wouldn't have had to perform the procedure, and it's nothing  to be concerned about. He did disect it off just to be sure. I was awake and alert for the procedure, except for the moments of pain where I had to squeeze my eyes shut and shed a few tears. It was pretty cool to be able to watch though. I'm very glad my DH was able to be there with me. Now... begins the wait for my period to start oh... in THREE WEEKS! Bah... I hate having to wait... heh
