Surgery a month away. ..

I'm having the bypass surgery in 1 month and starting to freak out a little bit.  I think I'm going thru the normal fears and anxiety everyone feels before having this done. You know. . how much I have to give up, the supplement changes I have to make, dealing with people at work, etc.  I have told my close coworkers flat out and they have been nothing but supportive of my decision.  And to the rest of them at work who aren't supportive, or make comments like how its a 'quick' fix and I'm cheating or something need to mind their own business.  I don't want to make any bad comments on this site but they know where they can go!  I'm proud of the decision I have made and I didn't make it lightly. I have spent 2 years really praying on it, and actually 5 if I count when I started researching and reading about the surgery.  I know it is something that I want to do for myself.  I feel positive about starting my new life.  But . . .  its a little scary.  What if I gain it back?      What if after all of this is done, I gain every single pound back.  This is my biggest fear and I would be absolutely devastated.  I have been taking steps to say goodbye to the food I love.  But as I say goodbye, 'new' foods pop up and introduce themselves to me!!!  LOL!!  Its kind of funny. . . I said goodbye to my Captain Crunch with Crunchberries 2 months ago.  And a few days ago Corn pops. . . which to be honest I was never a fan of. . . called my name.  I figure its best to get it out now. . . I'll just have to say goodbye to this too.      I realize this is not healthy, and not a good way to go about getting rid of cravings.  So I've got an approach I'm going to start trying.  Basically I'm just going to try to say goodbye without eating it.  I'm just going to say goodbye in my head several times follow up with prayer and it will be gone!!  Right!!!???
