Surgeries now completed

Greetings to one and all.  I'm very excitied and happy to relay that my first week of daily life after my second DBS surgery is a success.  There are many more steps to take before all of my new equipment is adjusted and so forth.  Most of all it is important for me to get enough rest and avoid the dreadful condition of constipation.  That makes a huge difference.  So far, my fingers are beginning to move more in tandem with each other when I try to play my harp with my good friend Allison. What a huge blessing it is to know her and have good intuitive adventures on our harps, even when just practicing.  My next appt. is the first pre-operative one.  The hospital where I am having all this done has a wonderful doctor named Peter Nora.  His team is fabulous!  They seem to work very intuitively also.  In surgery placing the probe to the right side of my brain I was awake to hear the awesome sound of my own brain waves hissing over a speaker in the operating room.  I look forward to many more years of good movement, even though this is not a "cure".  Until now, things seemed to be holding still and backing up a lot into too much OFF time with meds.  I will write more as I have experience with this wonderful surgical help.  I do DEFINITELY urge any who are afraid and holding back to listen and act quickly when your neuro surgeon says, "its time!"

Wish this could stay that good, but life doesn\'t do that all the time. It plays tricks with me often. Feeling alone and low.
