supposed to be in the 30's tonight, cold again//auction saturday//g has space for animals//haircut

have been sick for about 2 weeks i think.  have to look it up on here actually to know exactly.  lol.  sleeping a lot.  wonder if our bodies get sick because of not resting enough.
roly is still missing.
went to the new auction saturday, it was high priced and boring actually.  the original auction is a lot more fun, like watching comedy because the auctioneer cracks jokes at the merchandize the whole time and his pace is slow enough that you don't have to over-focus to hear him (though you do have to focus).
went to office depot for supplies, one office depot SUCKED the help knew NOTHING, so i left the store and went to the one in the next town.  totally different, that guy knew EVERYTHING.  so much better.  amazing how cheap ...
went out for burgers with j and attempted to go see the tree display before its over but we got there too late.  no idea when the last day is.
g called from one of the pet stores with clearance to show animals.  yay!  she sounded nervous and says to me that one of the animals we are taking on a trade is pregnant.  i was like, that's fine.  its not even spring yet and here we are.
went to get my hair cut with the christmas certificate from e, for a free haircut (did this the day before i fell super ill) and the woman must have been new because she didn't know how to cut long hair and was really nervous (she was shakey and her grip on the sizzors was weak).  i had to actually TELL HER that layers are cut on angles.  i totally HATE IT when i have to teach someone to cut hair and then pay them?    when it was time for her to style it, she had no clue at all how to use a round brush etc.....so i showed her that as well.  i have had long hair most of my adult life and this happens (long hair is a specialty and mine isn't even that long - below my shoulders).  even at hair shows they have to switch around stylists to do the long haired ones if the hair is wavy and layered.  so she gave me a second certificate to use for a free cut.  didn't expect it at all.  to be honest, its easier to use L who has cut my hair for the passed 9 years and i had forgotten how much easier having L makes my life.  no worries.  she just cuts it and fast too.  have a feeling this woman was extremely new because even her shampooing skills were poor.  a place is only as good as the people inside it.

the best present from the holidays so far is actually delta burke wireless and seamless bras, believe it or not.  lol.  even though its not about gifts and i try not to focus on that part AT ALL, less and less each year but it is always there because this country is so capitalist.  i still need a bra with back support though, and i'm still in daily pain from the accident.  it sucks actually.  i don't want pain meds.  i'm using topical muscle cream with menthol, advil gel caps and vitamins to alleviate the pain.  i also want to try planking to see if that will work or some kind of yoga.  hot baths with SALTS in it also helps for several hours after soaking.  without salts it doesn't do as much.

my green electric bill is around $60 per month.  yay!  compared to the other house which is $100 per month for oil heat and $80 per month for ordinary electric.  k says the new house is a total of $80 for electric with heat and doors open from repair, but the heat is set at 65, pretty cold.

the dogs are fine so far and 3 of the cats LOVE them and sleep in there with them.  they eat cat food more than their dog food.  why do dogs do that?    the new cat is hiding in the laundry room at the minute because they did work on the house next to the master bathroom that he had been enjoying before that (his choice, the door is open and he can come and go as he pleases).  still haven't heard if the real owner wants the animal back in five months after her baby is born.  she had the cat for 7 years, so its heartless to dump him if there is another solution and there is.

there are critters in the attic, you can hear them.  lol.  AND we found a dead rat in the office/bedroom.  k also found one in his yard and we had a field mouse in our house up north.  its supposed to go down to the 30's tonight so i guess they are coming in to get warm.  discovered a house on the next street has three BEAUTIFUL pet chickens.  would love to meet them.  have never had a pet chicken.  wonder if any are roosters, but haven't heard anything?

will be taking down the small amount of decorations we put up at the house up north.  a few lights and wreaths.  will leave the ones at the beach house for now.  already took down decorations at the new house only because they knocked down the new wreath when they were working and broke some of the glass ornaments on there.  grrrrrr.

Interesting books. I haven\'t heard of either, but heard about Chris.
Is it on tape? I listen to audio books on car trips to Moms!

lol janie, you are warming up and we are getting colder. it was nice rain when we had it, drizzly and balmy and a little fog.

lies my teacher told me, is probably on tape or cd. i found my antonia on cd but didn\'t listen to it yet and i think we have a twlight on cd as well. not sure. good idea for road trips. i used to like listening to stories while spring cleaning or packing.

was horrified to discover that christopher columbus and his men were like twins of hitler and the nazis but 500 years earlier. disgusting. can\'t believe we celebrate his birthday, it needs to be stopped.

It sounds like you got nice gifts. My one dog eats the cat food. I think she is smaller than the cat though.I am starting to take my decorations down in the next 2 days. I have so many up.

Sorry you\'re sick, 38, but it sounds like you got some nice gifts!

I have to tell you I wish I had a chest that needed a bra! LOL!! I do know what a problem it is to find a comfortable with proper support. My daughter is well endowed and has even considered a reduction, and she is only 33 years old with back pain already! UGH! I shall never have that problem!!

I do hope you find Roly!!

It\'s about 14 degrees here is Jersey tonight! I hear you might hit fifty! AHHHHHHHHHH! Do you even own a coat???? ox

its 42 right now. yay, i have a down jacket and i have a polartec by j. crew from when i was in college - the ad was they last PERMANENTLY which i thought would be false - it does. polartec is made from CANS but it is fabric, super light and super warm and its the jacket i use the most, i don\'t care about fashion by now and its basic zip up anyway, how much can it possibly change - fits perfectly under a windbreaker for the beach.

my cousin (no blood) was super big and got a reduction 25 years ago down to a c, which is what i used to be before i gained weight and became zofta woman. lol. she was getting CUTS in her shoulders from the bras and back pain all the time, so the reduction was necessary. she looked a lot better and still had a kid afterward, it didn\'t affect anything. i think she used to be a triple d and was a super thin and then THAT and it was before the dd look was so \"in\".

14 is too cold. don\'t go out in that, its dangerous.

I wish it was 14 in Toronto, Canada. We had a week of extreme cold advisory. It got to -14 with the wind chill factor of -25 to -35. Now that is cold. The best way, to dress is in layers. You are really doing well. Keep up with the positive attitude. People\'s opinion are just that. They do not count in the bigger picture. And to your question, if lack of sleep causes health issues. Yes, it does and boy I learned the hard way. Please get enough sleep. It is so important for good health. I was bouncing off the wall, so stressed and irritable all the time because of the lack of sleep. Big hugs and send some of that balmy weather up here.
