Support, Utah, and a New Friend.
I went to church yesterday and had a sensory overload all throughout the first meeting. Then we went to Sunday School and the boys were literally playing with a chair, dropping it on other boy's feet. The teacher was asking everyone to take turn answering a question. I couldn't so I asked my friend sitting next to me if we could go outside for a while. As soon as we went outside, I broke down and had a meltdown. She stayed with me, skipping class to help me feel better. She's a really good friend. She's currently trying to memorize some of my favorite scenes from Studio C AND Doctor Who just to impress me!
We left for Utah after church. We're finally going to see our doctor!
My Mom told me my cousin also has Asperger's Syndrome. His Mom doesn't want to accept he's different so she won't get him diagnosed. I feel like I have to convince her that he isn't mentally handicapped. Seriously, Einstein had Asperger's Syndrome! Even Elon Musk! I can't just sit by watching him not get the support he needs to be successful in life. It's wrong. I am just now getting the support I need and it feels so much better. I am finally able to be myself around other people and I feel like my Anxiety is decreasing.
