Super Busy & Keeping It Simple

It's been super busy at work.  I don't know if part of it is because one of our people is on family leave or that it's just plain busy.  After ages of being somewhat bored, I'm finally busy, almost to the point of being overwhelmed.  I've been doing some overtime lately.  I made a "to do" list, so that should help.  Plus my boss is out next week, so that'll help me get a handle on things.  Just one step at a time!
So with it so busy at work, that's spilling over into what I need to do at home (housework, exercise, etc.).  I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible, saying "no" to what I can't do, trying to keep my schedule as clear as possible.  It's the only way to keep my brain as clear as possible!  That & being sure to update Google calendar...
No new news about my son's job.  Darn it.
Feeling almost overwhelmed about paying bills; but I had an extra paycheck in October, so I'm more "in line" with my bills.
Still have most of my problem with my genealogy software.  Some of it has resolved, but not all.  I wrote to HQ, but I'm tired of waiting.  I have months of data to input.
DD's SAT scores didn't end up being much better.  So we have to see what happens after she applies to her schools.
