'Sup With Me

Well, it's June already, and it sure has been busy the past few months. My daughter will be graduating high school in just a couple weeks, so we're getting ready for that. Then there's lots of paperwork involved with her going to college; still working through all that. I'm telling you: the financial piece of it alone is a full-time job; it's crazy!
Blogging has been keeping me busy too. For the most part, I am posting once a week. I'm finding that it's taking up some of my genealogy time, which is a little frustrating. On the other hand, it is my genealogy, and I've learned a lot in the process.
I recently had a real nasty cold; it was going around our whole department! I'm still in the "getting over it" phase, but it is getting better. I get so impatient with the process though.
Son is the same, husband is the same. Dog's use of his legs is steadily declining. It's harder & harder for him to get up, though he can still do it. Otherwise, the vet says he's in excellent health.
DH told his dad that we are NOT going to North Carolina this year. Besides the whole dog thing, he technically doesn't even have vacation time yet & when he does, it will only be for a week. He needs to use that wisely. But we may go camping with the dog for a couple days. Where we stay has porches flush to the ground, so he'll have no problem getting around the campsite. We'll see what happens. In any case, I'll probably take plenty of stay-cation days this year again. I have lots of days & I'd like to enjoy that time.
