Sunshine and sunburned

Finally warm weather and blue skies. Got sunburned of course, can never seem to learn that lesson. I remember as a kid my dad smearing baby oil and iodine all over me for "suntan lotion", all i remember is getting red as alobster with that mixture.
Saw the new doc on Wed. and he is great. Good sense of humor and patient, sat for an hour and answered all of our questions. Went back to basics for treatment with Lialda and immodium and actually was constipated this weekend and the bm's were solid. HOLY SHIT AND HALLELUIAH TO HAVING TO PUSH OUT THE DOODY. I was even able to hold it for about 1/2 hour, once again HOLY SHIT AND HALLELUIAH. He is taking a week to review all my records and then we will come up with a plan of attack. We are going to storm the beaches together and kick this crap in the ass once and for all. Feeling good about this doc and his positive attitude. Hope once again and what a beautiful thing hope is.

Did that the first day of summer every year in Australia. Sun burnt and badly. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I am very confused with ny GI at the moment. Keep getting letters cancelling appointments, that I never had, letter telling my off for not going to appointments that I never had. Oh well, have phoned my GI, and I will see what he says.

I always used oil when I was a kid too, if only we knew what we were doing to our bodies, It\'s a wonder we don\'t all have skin cancer!!!
Glad to hear that you like your doctor, and that you are doing better. Right now you are taking the same as me, Lialda and immodium, plus I was told to use Benefiber in my morning coffee. Hope you continue to do well!!! So happy for you,a whole 1/2 hour is a long time for someone like us, Congrats!!!
Hugs and best wishes,
Jean

Sounds like a winning combination! (a new doctor and some better results!!!! yay for you!!!) Just wondering... Do you keep a daily food journal? That\'s really the only way I feel I\'ve gotten a hold on things... The disease is still here but no flares and no surgeries - sure helps me feel in control... Glad you are getting some results! Good luck!
