Sunday with the Grandsons

Dearest,
Spent the day at Kristin's. Eric is old enough now to be really cute and demanding, his communication skills are to the point that I can understand ninety percent of what he says. The drive over there was murder, cried nearlyall the way, when I got there I wasn't sure that I could go inside. As soon as I heard Eric's scream of joy and that cherry cute hai Bumba I felt better. Played with the kids almost all day, gave Kristin a break. Pat's parents (read Mitzi) sent me a Thanksgiving card and a Christmas cactus, another plant, another Thank You card. I haven't finished the ones from the funeral yet.
I was nuking some gravy for dinner and when I took it out the top popped and the hot steam burned the palm of my hand. Quite a nice blister there now. Ever try to was dishes with a burned palm? Can't wash them in cold water. It also makes it hard to type. I'm going to disable this stupid "Caps Lock" key on your computer, drives me crazy.
Tomorrow is two months. Two months and one day since last we spoke. I'm having a hard time. Dr. Hans said to call her, I might. I gave Kristin all the creams, lotions, and perfumes. She was thrilled and said that she could use all of it though I must confess I don't even know what some of that stuff was.
Till we meet again, Your Ken
