Sunday Morn
Good Morning SOTH.....It is going great with Hunter. He is such a joy - bright - so mature in so many ways. Needless to say, I'm enjoying waking up, knowing he is here. His zip lining adventure was great and he talked about it with such enthusiasm!! We're going to do other things this week - next week-end he is going to spend a couple of days with a family who he has grown up with his mom -- they have his dog...and then Tuesday 6/30 he will go home.
While Hunter was zip lining I had about 3 hours to walk around this small mountain town. I was parking my car to go into an antique store and there were the owners outside setting a display up...she commmented on my car which began a conversation.....soon I told her I loved to shop in antique stores as it reminded me of my daughter and all the "stuff" she had acquired during her life. That led to questions and I told her of Jennifer's life & her no longer being on this earth....She had a look in her eyes that was MORE than just a stranger listening to me rambling about Jennifer.....I continued in the store with this lady (Terri) following me talking about antiques and if I had some things left.....we talked about Hunter and how he was doing without his mom.....THAT LOOK.......THAT BEYOND UNDERSTANDING LOOK....Finally she said I lost my daughter 9 years ago @ 36 years old to cancer....tears ran down her face.....THAT LOOK....We immediately bonded...I listened to her about HER daughter and how her heart still feels broken and tears come so easily...Of course I told her all about you, dear sisters of the heart...That was my day waiting for Hunter.....I floated on a cloud the rest of the day....it felt so good to talk about Jennifer and know this other mom KNEW.....THAT LOOK......i

I am getting goose bumps reading this. I am glad that somehow fate threw you together and the relief of meeting a \"sister\" is almost beyond understanding. You deserve understanding and love! I am so glad it all happened!
Sending love, Leda
A wonderful happening to be sure. Being understood and sharing the good and bad stories is a catharsis of emotions. These moments are few and far between. I hope she joins FMO.
What a precious moment for both you and Terri. I am glad Hunter is having a great time.
Love and tight hugs, M
I is very different to talk to some who know really understands. People think they understand but cannot.
Hunter sounds like he is having a blast, its great to be a grand ma.
hugs Penny
Grateful you are having such fun with Hunter and I know what you mean about awakening knowing they are with you. It\'s been such a delight for us to have our daughter and the Littles here. :)
Oh, that look... I can truly spot in in a crowded room now and I\'m sure that was so very meaningful to connect in that way. To speak of our children is such a gift and these are those healing happenings that never cease to amaze me.
Much love and continue to savor your time with Hunter (is he taller than you?) and I cannot think of a better way to start off your summer vacation!
XO Joanie
you were in the right place and at the right time and said the right things,,,,, kudos.
No such thing as coincidence..thank you for the reminder that God is really in the meetings...enjoy Hunter!
Yes we all have that look, I am sure it was a joy for her to be able to talk to you. Peace, Kathy
Meant to be. I am sure you were a comfort to each other. Sue xo
What a totally wonderful and awesome experience! Yes, the timing was impeccable and not a coincidence. You were put together in that place and moment to connect, share and bring comfort to one another.
I love hearing of these happenings. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Love and Hugs,
Diane
I agree that this was NOT a coincidence. You were put there at the right place & at the right time. I\'m glad that you two were able to connect in such a special way...
Enjoy every single second with your AMAZING Hunter!
