Sunday \ Living in the Moment
Today has been a good day. No pain yet today and got to go to church and had breakfast with a friend who is struggling with depression. I just listened to her knowing I can't "fix" anything so I just listened and gave hugs and paid for breakfast. I'm praying she has a better week.
I try to find some reason in anything that bad happens or learn a lesson. This horrid disease has first taught me there are things out there people suffer from that I never knew existed. Every time I have been in physical pain in the past and thought it was the worst ever, well it wasn't the constant migraine, ear pain, and eyeball pain I had for five months was the worst ever.
This illness has taught me to enjoy every moment I am not pain. I enjoy every cup of coffee, that I can drive, that I can go to work, watching a movie with my husband, running errands with my mom, talking to friends. Just seeing clearly is a blessing!!! All the things I used to take for granted is now a blessing.
Thank you Jesus!
