A Sweet Gardening Sunday, with tending the plants :) It's a nice day to garden, as it's a bit cool outside :) i put nice organic soil around the stem bases of the plants :) i took some new pictures of our plants today too :) Enjoying the weekend, nature, summer time joys :) A new week is arriving :) i'm gonna make a new garden tour video soon :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a peaceful day :) We're enjoying a nice sunday at home :) it's a good day to garden, as the weather is only in the low 70's, and is comfortable, to accomplish lots of garden work :) i've been looking forward, to blossoming into the gardens today :) i got my garden gloves on, around late morning, and ventured into the gardens :) i first got some of our nice organic soil we got at home depot, and began to put the soil around the stem bases of the plants :) We love to use organic soil, it really helps the plants grow a lot, and plentiful :) my dad taught me back in 2002, when he first got me back into gardening, about how the organic soil, when put around the stem bases of the plants, when we water the plants, or when it rains, the nice organic soil seeps into the ground, to help nourish the roots of the plants :) now each season, when i garden, i love to think back to that awesome 2002 gardening season, and about the garden knowledge my dad has taught me, and also all of the garden knowledge friends have taught me over the seasons :)
It's really enjoyable, gardening :)Each season, is very special, unique, and has it's own wonderful qualities, that brings many cool gardening memories :) i was doing really well today, gardening :) as i put the organic soil around the stem bases of the plants, i was also pulling some weeds in the garden :) i love freshening up the gardens :) it's been an amazing growing stretch, for the plants :) the plants are really growing wild :) lots of string beans plants, peppers, tomatoes, we also have our pumpkins, and our marigolds we grew from seed, have began to blossom in one of our planters :) we're so amazed too, to see how many aster flowers are blossoming, along with these golden yellow wild flowers :) it's super awesome! :) while i was gardening today, i made sure to put some nice organic soil around the stem bases of our string beans plants, and our grapevine stems area :)
i gave the plants a really nice watering :) the plants are growing so nicely, and are very healthy, and happy :) i put lots of the soil, around the corn plants too :) The sunflowers also got some nice soil :) The sunflowers are growing so very TALL! :) oh my! :) WOW!!! :) i'm really looking forward to measuring the sunflowers, on tuesday :) Sunny and Sunshine are growing toward the summer sky :) all around our yard, we have lots of nature, and garden joys :) i heard, and spotted lots of birds, all around today, including visiting the bird sanctuary, to enjoy some seeds, and breads :) i heard a unique sounding bird singing this early morning too, it was so neat to hear :)
my dad and i have been checking our plants, and want to have a nice full nature walk together, around our yard, on wednesday evening :) it's gonna be so nice :) We're very happy, and excited about how well the plants are doing :) it's been mostly cloudy here this weekend, but i think we're gonna have some sunshine, this upcoming week :) it's so nice, the gardening season, and all of the happiness, and peace it brings :) i love being in the gardening zone, and very thrilled, to see how much more the plants, grow this upcoming week :) Happy nature, and gardening smiles :)
my family and i have been hanging out today :) my mom and dad got a new fridge, for our kitchen, from the rent-a-center place :) We had a 2nd fridge, that wasn't working too well, and wanted to get a newer one. :) today my dad installed our new kitchen fridge, it's really nice :)We're so happy to have a newer fridge :) my mom's been organizing the fridge, we'll get to make lots of nice new ice too, in the fridge/freezer :) it's been a really nice stretch of days, and the weekend has been peaceful, and relaxing :) we've been enjoying opening our new mail :) We'd love to take this time, to share with everyone, about some very special, and lovely gifts, and treasures we recieved :)

Nisa (Stix24) and her family sent us, lovely cards :) awww! :) Nisa is so sweet, and very creative :) She loves to create cards :) She's been mentioning about how she's been creating cards :) it's amazing, the wonderful love, and spirit, put into each card :) Every time i see our cards, all around my computer room, it touches my heart, as i think of the very special friendships we all share :) Nisa sent Kayla, a lovely happy birthday card :) awww! :) We opened our cards together, in our living room :) Kayla says, "thanks Nisa!" :) awww! :) Kayla's going to put her card, on her wall in her room :) The lovely card that Nisa sent me, has a beautiful nature theme on the front :) There's a birdhouse, a bird, leaves,flowers, and a butterfly :) awww! :) the butterfly is a gold one :) the card reminds me of our love for nature, and gardening :) inside the card, Nisa wrote me a lovely friendship note :) awww! :) This is wonderful! :) i'm going to put our card, here in my writing area :) Nisa and family also sent us, a beautiful postcard :)
The Postcard is a lovely scene, featuring a park, where Nisa loves to go for walks :) The card has beautiful tulips flowers, trees, peaceful nature, all around :) it's wonderful to see the park, and thinking about the wonderful joy, and peace, it brings Nisa, to visit the park :) on the postcard, Nisa wrote me a nice note :) i'm going to put our postcard, here in my writing area, and then will put it next to my window here, in my computer room :) a very lovely postcard, and beautiful card Nisa created for us :) Nisa, and her family also sent Taylynn and Mikey, cards for their birthday's, in August :) awww! :) this is so nice, and sweet :) Taylynn and Mikey will enjoy opening their cards, on their birthday's :) this is wonderful! :)

CONGRATS TO YOUR MOM FIRST on the NEW FRIDGE!!! I\'m fully aware that a kitchen IS THE WOMYN-OF-HOUSE\'S ROOM!!! I know a new fridge will serve you all better than the old one and will save money on electricity!!! I know when I upgraded my fridge, it saved me money on my electric... Sounds like a SUPER GARDENING DAY dear Chris!!! It\'s always so nice to spend a Sunday in the garden...
I had a buzy day here starting with a quick run to Walmart--gotta have my yogurt! I think I\'ll start making it again... I picked up a few other things like my Stevia so it was some pricey fill-ins too, but I\'ve gotta keep the house rolling along... Mary also came up for a while and applied for a job using my computer. There is a position in my little town that she would like to have, an opening at the new Dollar General! It would be great for her as it is so close! SEND POSITIVE ENERGY THAT MARY GETS THE JOB!!!

I so appreciate the pictures you share of the gardens and such. It keeps me smiling and hoping for when I may be doing better and be allowed back to the love of gardening -- I am saving all of my seeds in the refrigerator and am doing a few potted plants to help them to grow big and strong to place out in the gardens next year -- hope, hope!!!

Thanks for your message to me. Your garden looks fantastic. Yes, you have learned a great deal about gardening from your dad. Both sets of grandparents had huge gardens in the Bronx, New York. I loved to see them pick veggies or figs from the many trees they both had.
How fortunate I was to grow up with them.
