Not been here long but already found that most here just want sympathy and to moan a lot, very few of them look at why their lives are turning out sad or lonely and how they have contributed to it.  One said I was lucky that I must have had wonderful parents and a great childhood, he was not so lucky. Strange that as I was not lucky there - my parents were awful and I had to leave home at 15 with no support, nowhere to go, no family, no friends, no money, nothing, so please do not assume that anyone who has a handle on their life was luckier than you.  In some cases having a bad past is a sink or swim thing, if you are a victim type you go under and blame your life, if you are resourceful and determined you rise above your problems. 

Since being an adult Ive turned to the very famous reader, the clairvoyant lady, Beth Shepherd psychic,  but only four times in the whole of my life and I am now quite an elderly lady, so you cannot say that I have had any help or support from someone that is unusual or special.  The difference between me and some others is that I find ways to cope or make things happen.  IF I cannot get a good job I study and train and get an education even if I have to pay for it and do it in the evenings, if I want to make sure my relationship with my partner works I make him happy, but I also make sure I didnt pick a crap partner in the first place where I would be wasting my time!

When I first consulted Beth it was many years ago after my husband had died.   People do not understand the mixed feelings you get then. Sometimes relief, sometimes grief, it depends on how good the marriage was and why you were in it.  In my case because I would prefer to be single and have always made sure I can stand on my own two feet and have my own income Ive never had to resort to making do with a bad man because he pays the bills etc, this is where many women go wrong.

Ms Shepherd told me about how she gets a lot of women go to her who are miserable with hubby yet do not want to leave because of his money - well that is a choice then - money or happiness, some cannot have both. But if you earn your own money like I do you can have both.
