9:35am
So last night and this morning the pain has been very mild again. This thing is so frustrating. I haven't been using the pain cream as it doesn't really seem to work. When it acts up I use it just to feel like I did something but in reality it's not really helping. I'll talk to the derm doc during my follow up. I think at tihs poing its just a matter of time and patience but I wish I could find something that could just help reduce the symptoms when they begin.
My friends mom is still sick with a high fever but the CT scan was normal so that is good. It's just a matter of getting her temp down. Poor thing. They don't want too many people visiting so once she can talk I'll give her a call.
Another 2 inches of snow last night so I guess the shovel will be out this afternoon...yuck! At least it gets me out of the house and it's going to be a whole 30 degrees before dropping to -15 or something crazy. I think by Wednesday the normal temps will be back.
I'm going to spend part of today ramping up for the new projects. Hopefully they have all the docs ready and my testing box ready tomorrow. Hurry up and wait as always!
My friend wanted to go out to breakfast but I'm feeling pretty lazy and it's like 8 degrees out so I'm going to get some work done and try to get ahead of the game.
Mentally I'm doing okay with the 40mg Prozac and .5 Klonopin. I hope to wein off the Klonopin over the next couple of months. I just hope the Prozac does it's job but  I will be working with my primary doc month to month until we get the perfect balance. That was my mistake last time as I did not keep up with the treatments because I was too stubborn and I thought that I could do everything by myself.
I basically do everything by myself but this illness requires help and support from many people and meds and I have finally accepted that fact which is a good thing :)
Well some more coffee then I'll start prepping for the new projects...

Your work seems to help you deal with all this. I\'m glad. I was sure the cream was going to get you through until the nerves healed. Maybe the pain will not go up to the high levels you were experiencing.

Hope you get to talk with your friends mom soon. I know her recovery is a big concern for you. You have a heart of gold.
